She stiffened as she made eye contact with the creature, immediately recognizing what it was. A corrupted gem. The realization put her on edge as she recalled the various fights she got into while corrupted. They were always hostile and this one had definitely seen her. Cautiously she reached behind her back with one hand, fingers hovering over the gem placed a few centimeters above her tail as she braced herself for the possibility of an attack.

She had reacted the instant the sudden movement had started. Her weapon was summoned from her gem, manifesting a large, almost cartoon-like hammer. She dropped down as her claws began to come down, using the added momentum to strike the offending limb. Now that she was on the ground, she darted back several paces, unsure of what it was capable of. "Don't come closer." Her anxiety was apparent in her voice, but there was no way she'd allow herself to be shattered from a beast.

The crashing and crushing of the greenery had broken any sense of tranquility the forest still had, the cawing of birds fading out as they fled the scene. She hoped silently that she was far enough away, letting her weapon disappear as she pushed herself firmly against the body of a tree. There she waited until the chaotic noise had died down and she waited even longer until she was sure the corrupted gem had finished it's rampage and hopefully moved on. Finally she peaked out from her mediocre hiding spot, summoning her hammer once more as she went out to investigate. She'd never be able to properly calm down unless she knew she would be safe.

She slowly inspected the damage left behind in the creature's rampage. She couldn't help but frown, she had enjoyed laying about under the shade of those trees and watching the tiny brush bud and bloom. She sighed heavily. At least the danger had seemed to have passed. Her tail swished slowly behind her as she stepped across the mess before her. She really didn't care to clean it up, at least not right now. The surrounding area was now silent, filling her with enough confidence to wander around to see if any other damage had been caused.

The swinging of her tail immediately stopped as she looked around. It wasn't too hard to see the vibrant orange against the seas of brown and green. Her hammer was still out, she reminded herself, she at least wouldn't be unarmed if it came after her once again. "I can see you." She called despite the fact that the gem was probably unable to understand her. In her defense, she hadn't spoken to anyone besides herself since before her own corruption. She tried her best to remain calm, perhaps that was a trigger for it. She'd rather not have to poof her as she knew she could no longer produce bubbles and would likely have to shatter the gem if she wanted it to stop.
