time skip 2 daysThe gem wandered off into the woods and found a junk yard and was bringing scrap metal to the hidden area she saw her friend look at her weirdly as she would bring in the metal but she would make square patches and dig in the soft dirt digging a garden the way she saw the humans do it - she came back within a boombox and dropped it in front of her friend and smiled "heereeee" she yipped |

⊹˚₊‧───────𓆈───────‧₊˚⊹ A head of brown hair perked up at the strange voice, turning around to see the orange creature grinning at her and smiled back. She took the box in both off her hands, turning it over and inspecting it. She had seen some things like this before, they made noise but to be fair, she wasn't exactly sure how they worked. Apart from a few dents and dirt, it looked normal she thought. "Thank you." She chirped cheerfully, tail resting lazily against the recently upturned dirt. "You're starting to bring back even more stuff." She commented, more to herself than her friend. They had slowly amassed a collection of scrap metal in all shapes and sizes and various discarded human items. Some of which she had been trying to make a overhang out of, which if her pile of fallen chunks, branches, and scraps of fabric were anything to go off of, it wasn't going very well. "You know, these things are supposed to make noise, music is what they call it. Maybe I can figure out how they work and I can show you." She suggested as she rubbed a finger over the mesh for the speakers. Things on earth were very different than what she was used to when working for homeworld. She sat down and watched her friend her eyes scanning the area and looking at her scrap pile and getting up and messing with the scraps till it made a small slanted roof thing The gem wagged it's tail it was proud of the work |

⊹˚₊‧───────𓆈───────‧₊˚⊹ Seeing as a cock of her head was the only answer she received, it felt safe to assume she didn't. She was fairly curious about how the other would react to music, it was nothing like gem culture. She chuckled, a bit embarrassed, as she fixed her mess with little issue. "Showing me up, I see." She joked aloud. It had taken her a better half of the morning to make that mess while the corrupted gem was able to figure out what she was trying to do and do so within a handful of minutes. With a small shake of her head, she pushed off the ground and wandered over to place the stereo in the pile of other interesting things she had been brought. "I suppose that's why I've lived in trees the entire time." ⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹ |

⊹˚₊‧───────𓆈───────‧₊˚⊹ A faux offended look was shot in her direction at the noise, having grown to understand what that one meant. Regardless, she pushed off the ground and wandered over to continue messing with the structure. It would have been far easier if she was able to carve into the cliff side, but the stone felt unstable and would need constant reinforcement. She wasn't quite ready to deal with that just yet. The sound of the gem leaving caught her attention for a brief moment before she returned to the task at hand, being semi confident that she'd return soon. And return soon she did but this time she had a flailing corrupted gem in her maw. The gem blinked in confusion at the sight, watching as it tried, and failed, to escape the larger gem. "What-?" She started before cutting herself off. "Drop it, you don't know where they've been." Wide hands cupped under her mouth expectantly, waiting for the smaller gem to be released. ⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹ |

She pursed her lips and spread her hand out further to grasp the red gem once released. She huffs softly, tail coiling around her ankle as they waited for one side to cave. "There's no need to act like that. You know I can take care of myself. She couldn't even get to my gem if she wanted to."
