I've never played a game like this but I saw someone's wolf on tumblr and when I looked it up and saw the artwork I physically couldn't restrain myself. Props to the artists. Now I'm just bumbling around doing whatever.

Some random facts:

- Soft Descent is a song in the soundtrack for The Last of Us Part II.

- I'm a vessel for coffee & snacks that goes by she/her

- I'm super proud of the development team of WolfQuest. They wanted to educate people about wolves so they learned how to make a video game and just Did That. For free. I started playing it when I was nine, in 2009, and kind of gradually forgot about it, but now the anniversary edition is out and it looks flipping amazing because they rebuilt it from the ground up and I'm glad they're finally charging something for it. They deserve it.

- I'm on Rocky Mountain time.

- Speaking of, a proposition on the Colorado ballot just passed (barely, Nov. 2020) to reintroduce wolves to the Rocky Mountains. Preparations are being made for now. They will be reintroduced in 2023.

Pack goals:

- Have a cave named after each of the four winds/albums by The Oh Hellos.  Done!  Undone. :( I need a quarantine cave, too. Done again!

- Stick to natural colors. I've discovered adoption is my jam.

- I guess adopting means I need the most number of slots for adult wolves as possible.

- Keep a permanent presence of the original 6 wolves' family line/s in the pack.

- The original six's line should all have dark bases and preferably be monochrome or cool and I want to breed as naturally as possible- minimal/no grove items or customization.

- Get pup stages. Done

- Have a nomad/traveling wolf. Maybe a cave for travelers?

- Have a mela scout? The first litter from my carrier and the mel stud didn't work out, but I already made one of those pups the permanent scout. If there's a mela in this next litter, that one will be the nomad/traveler.
