Bamah was the founder of the Northside pack.
A male German Sheperd that got lost in the woods with his mate Cassiopeia, a female Border Collie after going hunting with his owner.
Both of them tried so hard to follow their owner's scent, but the only thing they managed to do was walk in circles and become exhausted.
After long time decided to rest in the forest, seek shelter, and try to hunt something. But they weren't good at surviving this way. They could have died, but suddenly a black wolf appeared, said her name was Tala and explained how everything worked in the wild. They had to create a pack or they would not survive.
That was when the real adventure began. The first pack of wolves led by dogs.
Bamah and Cassiopeia started to adopt lost pups, and accept lone wolves into their pack. This way, they became the leaders of the entire pack.
Traditions
"Probat Elk" in spring.
The pups born in this season are usually the strongest.
So the tradition that begins on the Spring Equinox consists of meticulously
choosing which of those pups is going to be the next hunter.
Some groups of between 3-5 pups are chosen, and depending on which group was
more effective in hunting the Elk Bull, are the ones that will advance to the hunter position.
Puppies that were not chosen as future hunters will either test again the following
spring, or move on to another instance where they could be evaluated as pupsitter or scout in case the positions are not filled.
"Alba Lumina" in winter.
It's a reunion in which all the wolves of the pack go together in the Winter Solstice
to howl at the God of the sun, asking for the return of the heat.
The tradition starts when the herbalist prepares a mix of specific herbs that are
buried in the ground, as an offer to the mother nature. By doing this it's believed Mother Nature will
help them with the unborn puppies of the winter preventing diseases, and with the food shortage.

In the full moon, all the hunters, including the different parties, go together for
a massive hunt. Their ancestors believed that they were stronger on a full
moon and that is why the tradition is maintained.
