Founding Pair: Snowmoon (Leader) & Windseeker 


Starting Biome: Deciduous Forest

• Snowmoon and Windseeker escaped from where they had been held in the darkness of Vraykis's court. They fled to the surrounding forest of the west coast of The Island, where they laid low and established pack territory. There, they met Emberheart and Sandstorm, two wolves who were living in the area. Sandstorm was hard won - he was suspicious, and the strangers smelled of fear. But Emberheart was missing the life of the pack, and gladly joined, ready to help the others and build up a legacy of her own.

Pack Goals

• Clean Breeding - Not difficult at this stage of the game but may get so later on. 


• Pack Adoption - The Lore behind this pack is that they are a band of misfits, so they are going to adopt unwanted pups and adolescents as they can. The pack is actually starting "too large" on purpose - Snowmoon got a little overzealous with her adoption and has to learn why she can't just take everyone in.


• Studding - While we have our main male wolf, he will not be the father of every pup in the pack. Our wolves will end up having some dalliances outside of the pack, and I will stud out to males as I see fit. This is to keep some un-related blood in the pack for when it's time for a new male to take place.


• Males - Males won't be given special priority to be chased out of the pack. Many high skill roles (Herbalist, Scout, etc) will be given to males.


• Roles - As the pack continues as more stats compound and develop, family lines will develop for pack roles.


• Always Fed - The first priority for each day is getting all of the wolves fed. Play items will be reserved for pups unless a wolf drops dangerously low, in times of plenty all wolves get played with. If it comes down to having all wolves fed or selling enough food to get more territory to keep an upcoming adolescent, the feeding must take priority - if we can't keep our pack fed, we don't have room for new adults. 


• Markings - While pretty wolves are always appreciated, they will be a secondary consideration to all of the above. 

Plans:

• Get a Group of 5 NBW Wolves around the same age (preferably sub 2.5 years) that can be trained as a hunting patrol to begin the clean stat project.

• Set group to hunting party and make sure they get ALL hunts in every day, at highest hunt available
  
• Set breeding pairs and train new pups for future roles
  
• Repeat for genetic diversity
  
• Current hunting parties to be used for food, retired to mentors, etc
