Divis the Outcast___________________________________________________

"I'm not an outcast; I'm The Outcast."

Deep in the forest, beneath the black canvas sky, Divis lies still against the ground, his snout resting against his paws.
His pale eyes fall to no place in particular as his mind wanders, rolling over the words from his Elder speaking
of The Story he knew all too well.

In the Beginning, there were but two: Harka, the First Wolf, and his brother, Veran, the Second Wolf. They were born from the
 Oak Tree. And the Tree protected them. They would sit high in the Oak and talk of all the Wonders in the World: the birds,
 the caterpillars, the light on the leaves. Then, one day, Veran came home and found Harka hanging from the Oak
Tree. And Veran wept. He knew then his brother wasn't strong enough for the Wonder.

Divis shifts uncomfortably in his place on the ground, his bright eyes welling with tears at the recollection, his Elder's wise voice in his head preaching on and on and.. With a huff, Divis stands and shakes the dirt from his pelt. Through the dust he cannot help but look up as the clouds part, the Moon reflecting in his eyes.

And then Veran saw the rope move. He saw that the rope was alive. It was a serpent, sent by Lokka himself.. Divis swallows dryly as the night air chills him, the moonlight showering him; the Symbol at his forehead shown clearer in this light. The Dead One's Mark. The Sign of the Snake. And the serpent's name was Pwykka.

Named after the Character from the show Britannia. Eventual Lore and artwork to also be inspired by the Character.
Under heavy development as I try to get back into writing and drawing..

Activity fluctuates due to work and life in general.
