Pack LoreOne summer's day, a newly of-age wolf wandered through the forest, seeking shelter from the beating sun. His brown fur disguised his shape as a sun-dappled pine root - and so he took his name. He strayed further and further from his home territory until he found himself in a place where moss-laden maples shared their canopy with conifers, and the understory was lush with ferns and brambles. As he continued to explore, the sound of flowing water drew him hypnotically. The canopy gave way to alders and cottonwoods, and the ground softened beneath his paws until he found himself at the banks of a river. But entangled with the trickling was another sound - a howl. Not far away, a wolf was singing of her sun-down journey from the mountains to the endless sea. Pine Root sought after this fellow explorer, and found her on a stone shoal. She took on the name Singing Stone, and together as companions they began this pack.
To this day, their blood runs through the pack, including through all of our leaders. We are a healthy, natural, and self-sustaining pack. We still reside in the wet forests between the mountains where the sun rises and the sea where the sun sets. We await the foretold coming of The Guardian From The Night Sky and The Silent Walker.note to self Wolves start dying at 7 years 6 months!
