If you'd like to read our guides to help you get started, we've provided our suggested order below, starting from the very basics and getting into the specifics.

Getting Started | | These first five guides provide a base introduction into game mechanics and lay out all of the information we think would be useful for a beginner! From the interface, to taking care of your wolves, to trading with other players, we'll go over every feature and provide resources for more detailed learning in the future. |  |
1. Getting Started: The Very Basics, FAQ, and Glossary
Learn about rollover and the site layout. Be sure to check out the Frequently Asked Questions and Glossary, and come back to it later once you learn more about mechanics, as well!
2. Lead Wolf and Talents
You've learned about the site, but what about learning about you? This guide explains the role of your lead wolf, the wolf you play as, and what your lead wolf is able to do for you.
3. Wolves, Roles, and Care
Now that you know about your pack, how about learning the details of your wolves, taking care of them, and assigning them jobs to do in your pack!
4. Your Pack, Territory, and Player Customisation
Learn all about your pack and territory, and how you can add some personalization to your profile.
5. The Crossroads and Commerce
The Crossroads has lots to do! Learn about every Crossroads location, and then about Wolvden's currencies and shops.

A great supplemental resource to our hunting guide, this guide touches on wolf personalities and explains how they affect the game.
9. Scouting
If you want to start branching out across the Wolvden world, you'll have to start scouting!

Once you've started scouting, you might get curious about all of those places you're discovering! This guide explains all of Wolvden's biomes and their differences.
11. Illnesses and Herbalism
Illnesses become a persistent mechanic after your 4th rollover. If you want to get ahead, you could read this guide before then, or wait until then to learn all about Herbalism!

15. Fishing
Fishing is a mini-game you can play for Silver Cones and unique items! You can find it on the Games page, and learn about the intricacies here.
16. Recipes and Crafting
Throughout your gameplay, you'll happen across some recipes, which you can start using to craft! Crafting allows you to access a variety of new items, and this guide explains where you'll be able to get started.

17. Breeding and Pregnancy
Breeding is such an important part of Wolvden, you'll want to make sure you understand it pretty thoroughly. This guide will help!

How will you be able to tell what your puppies will look like after they're born? Genetics, of course! Wolvden's genetics can get a bit complicated, and this guide goes in depth.

By this point, you may have seen the word "Raffle" thrown around while referring to wolves. Raffle traits stem from Raffle Studs, which you unlock at Level 10, and you can learn about here!
20. Puppies, Pup Survival, and Training

21. Lunar Event Retired: Check out the new wiki page!
The Lunar Event is a monthly event that last for a week, starting on the third Friday of every month. Explore a mystical dream world, and prepare using this guide!
22. The Matchmaker Retired: Check out the new wiki page!
The Matchmaker event takes place every February, and introduces a huge cast of date-able wolf NPCs.
23. Cataclysms
The Cataclysms event takes place every August, and features a variety of natural disasters, new explore encounters, and lots of new characters.
24. Coigreach
The Coigreach event takes place every November, and features a comprehension storyline with many new explore encounters!
25. Mini-events and Special Occasions
In addition to these large events, there are multiple smaller events and special dates! This guide covers mini-events such as Halloween and December Gifting, as well as special occasions like Black Friday and April Fool's Day.
