The leader called her name. "Maple'Shadow, can you please go hunting?"

River'rage  brought back  a rather large rabbit and a mouse, both seemed to have bashed in heads and soaking wet fur

She could hear MapleFang's questions in the background as she asked what had happened, Falconflight explained how they had not found Smokedusk but had found evidence of what happened. Featherpaw cried in mourning for her mentor, Falconflight rapped himself around Featherpaw comfortingly, but her heart weighed her down like a stone. "Featherpaw, calm down. Sleetstar will definitely give you a new mentor!" His voice was soothing, but she watched as he looked away towards the scenery. "And as for Smokedusk...'' his voice echoed away, and she buried her head into his fur. She didn't want to look anymore, she just wanted to go back to camp, away from the scene.

River padded around the rabbit flailing around lifeless in her jaws she looked around and laid down, putting the rabbit down to eat it, she'd placed the mouse in the pile, and that was good enough for her.
