As preparation for players, this game works similarly to
in-person games such as Werewolf or Mafia.
For older computer game savvy players, this is similar to
Town of Salem.
To the rest of you: think Among Us.

The territory has gotten awfully quiet in your pack. The birds don't sing, the wind doesn't whistle, and walks through the underbrush seem unbearably loud. Something is wrong. Late at night the pups tell scary stories of huge wolves that kill whatever they want. They've seen the monsters, they say, and their voices make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Sometimes you think you spot shadows that are too long on your walks. You know it's only a matter of time before you know for sure if werewolves are real.
You will be given a role privately.
ROLES MUST REMAIN PRIVATE FOR THE GAME TO FUNCTION PROPERLY.
Antagonists:
•Werewolves are in the minority but are the main antagonists of the game. During each Night, you choose one member of the pack to kill. This is the only role where other members of the same role know who each other are. It is beneficial to you to kill the special pack members, the medic and oracle, if you are able. During the day, do your best to blend in. If you are able to kill all pack members or match their numbers, you win.
Pack roles:
•The Medic may stay with one member of their choosing during the night. This player will live regardless if they are chosen by the werewolves. The medic, however, can only go by their gut and they are unaware of everyone's role. They may choose themselves to save.
•The Oracle can see into the hearts of another player once per night. Whoever they choose will have their role revealed privately to this player. The Oracle can choose to reveal this information during the daytime or keep it to themselves.
•Normal Pack Members are just that- they are protected anonymously by the more special Medic and Oracle, and sleep soundly during the Night. Fans of democracy, your main goal is to find suspicious activity and vote to remove any bad characters.
During the Night
The game starts at Night. Unfortunately, this will mean one player will die immediately at the hands of the werewolves. All special roles will be pm'd privately. No discussion should be made on this post. I will put a reminder during each Night Cycle of rules.
Night and Day are not dependent on real life or Wolvden time cycles. They only move forward when we are ready to.
During the Day.
Each Day Cycle, a body is discovered of a pack member. The living members must discuss among themselves who they think did it, and will vote to remove them from the pack. Werewolves appear as regular players here, as if they looked suspicious they might be voted out.
Night and Day are not dependent on real life or Wolvden time cycles. They only move forward when we are ready to.
Dead players may continue to watch the game but cannot contribute to a vote.
The Pack must save as many members as they can and eradicate the Werewolves.
The Werewolves must destroy the pack.
