Not suggestions. Just theories, WD theories. These were supposed to be just small and short brainstormings but.... whoops. I tried to avoid events that are tied to seasonal happening in our world, such as having event only about winter struggles as it wouldn't make sense since we have in-game seasons. And it would only be winter for 6-7 days of the event. I also didn't want anything too much based on real-world holidays too. WD is widely international game, and it wouldn't make sense to have eg. "Thanksgiving event" as a large number of players don't celebrate it. Some events are similar to LD too, and most events could just happen in any month too. If you want to, add your own ideas to mine! ---------------- January - Northern Lights (Explore based, No story) Event about mythical foxes who, with a flick of their tail, can create northern lights. During the night time in explore (and maybe hunting map), if there are clear skies, you can visibly see those lights on the sky. And come across the fox creating them as well. There wouldn't be a story to follow, but explore encounters and event NPC's would expand the lore. Event NPCs: Snow, albino fox (General Shop) & Silver, melanistic wolf ("Food shop" owner) Decorations: Northern lights/Pretty night sky BGs, magical effects decoration, fox buddies Other features: Food for Foxes, creating northern lights is hard work and the foxes would appreciate some donations. Donations give you special event tokens, you gain other tokens from exploring. The token amount would be calculated based on food uses. February - Something in the air (Community based, No story) March - From hunters to hunted (Explore based, No Story/Short Story) April - Too loud! (Explore based, No story) May - What about Tala? (Explore based, Small story) June - Disasterous! (Explore based, No story) (Due to post limit issues, continues below) |

July - Blight of the Sun and Moon (Explore based, Long story) August - Omens (Explore based, Short story) September - Help Wanted (Explore based, Short story) October - From the Deep (Explore based, Medium story) November - Just for Show (Explore based, No story) December - Season of Appreciation (Community based, No story) ------------ These aren't fully fleshed out ideas yet, but I just lost my juice after writing these for about 3 hours lmao. |

These are nice, but I'd definitely prefer if wolvden's events weren't a direct mirror to lioden's. I'd definitely be disappointed if the july event was story driven, and involving celestial entities again. Maybe the big events on this site could be in september and november, since those months are so drab on lioden. Maybe September could be something about a plague (heavily tied into the herbalist aspect of the site and maybe introducing a ton of unique herbs) and november could be focused on a pack of wolves trying to expand their territory through violent means, and they could mess around with your explore map. I just want to see how this game's mechanics can play into events. also I'd love a big goofy romeo and juliet type thing for febuary. |

hoping against the odds that for the love of all that is good the February event will be less weird on this site. honestly a good part of why i left lioden was because of the graphic animal art (and weird sexist undertones???) during that month, like..... so unnecessary |

I only pray they add events in December! Or at least special bases... because me wants a special wolfie! |

Just a thought but since wolves are so tied in with native american lore and history then why not tie that in to some events? Maybe like an explore type or hunting type thing with native americans since wolves use to be captured and domesticated by native americans. |
