Ah, up here again. It feels like the hike was easier the second time. You had passed your previous resting spot where you befriended your first Bearling, and now you were roughly 50 feet higher. Due to the amount of items you had, your small backpack was heavier now and dangled off your shoulder precariously. Pausing to catch your breath, you glanced down. To the left of your foot, you noticed something you had failed to see before: a tuft of fluff.

A) Take it
B) Leave it

You carefully lowered yourself until you could reach the tuft. Taking it in your hand, you could feel the softness of Bearling fluff. It's unclear if one is nearby, or if they had just passed, but it was a good sign. You continued climbing up, the tuft in your hand.

Eventually you came to a small but sturdy ledge and put your bag down. The tuft was still in your right hand, t
but it seemed more alive and less fluff now. You only worry what it could be.

Suddenly you felt a CHOMP on your nose!

Why do you keep getting bitten?

You rushed to grab what you originally assumed was a tuft of fur and pull it off of your face. Lo and behold, in your grip was a Bearling whose fur was raised. It hissed at you, gnashing its teeth in anger from being awoken. How will you calm the beast?

Thinking quickly, you bring out one of your trusted berry bags and opened it up. Distracted by the delectable scent, the Bearling's hissing grew quieter and quieter until it was nothing but a faint rumble.

The Bearling reached its tiny paws out to take hold of a grape.
