Disregarding the creature who flew off, you turned your attention to the nearby growling. Carefully, you searched around your rock in a futile attempt to spot whatever was giving a very verbal warning. Defeated and convinced there was nothing around after all, you leaned back on your palms.

Suddenly, you felt another bite to your finger. This time you took the chance and delicately grabbed the ferocious beast- a Bearling a little less than the length of your pinky. It's eyebrows are furrowed in determination. It's clear you're in it's territory.

A) Use Berry Bag
B) Attempt to Calm Down

Attempting to calm the beast, you began petting it's head with your thumb. The Bearling snapped ferociously, squirming in your gentle grip. Due to its movements, you couldn't quite see what it looked like, though the bite was different from the one you received earlier. Perhaps you can calm it with berries or attempt to wait out its anger.

You don't know how long you sat with the Bearling, but eventually the wee beast tired itself out. With out last chomp of defeat, it stopped squirming. Its tired eyes looked up at you for a moment before it decided to take the warmth forcibly given and snuggle into your fist.

Congratulations!
You have befriended a common male with extended teeth (mutation). It will appear in your inventory in just a little while.

Haha yeah! I use a wheel with the different percentages of likelihood (legendary is so low hehehe). And yes, to explore again you'd have to send payment again. I'm almost done with your Bearling so I'll get him up when I'm done, along with your inventory
