yes, any animal over level 5 can drop trophies. but the closer they are to your lead's level, the higher chance it is (if i remember correctly). thanks for asking

Thank you for answering! ❤️ I don't suppose you have any idea what the statistics are? Like what levels are worth fighting if I'm looking for a particular trophy? One thing I like about WD are the nice statistics, surely someone has collected the data on trophy drop by level? If not maybe I'll have to do it!

You can always check the user made guides in the chatter or Google it. I've had guides show up when I Google, so less work just add wolvden in the search.

I think the higher lvls have a higher chance of dropping, but if you can't win then worthless. Try fighting the high lvl you can until winning against lvl 20s

Ahh Google was a great shout, I hadn't thought of that! Thank you. Looks like my assumption that trophy drop levels changed depending on enemy level isn't correct. Honestly I find winning has more to do with enemy type than level - I can beat a level 20 Fox pretty consistently, but regularly lose to level 15 bears even with a lucky foot haha. I've ended up going through them at a rate of knots! 🤣

Bears are hard! Even my 1,000 stats barely wins with a lvl 15 bear with a lucky foot
I had read about a player suggested changing the battle system as it goes based off chance I believe or something like that. That makes more sense as to why we can still lose to lower lvls I guess

I'm slightly relieved to hear that 😂 I literally just lost to a bear in between this message and the last 🤣 I know mine at least gets penalties for strength and agility being under a certain level, which makes latch less likely to be successful and enemy bleeds more likely to affect her, because it says if you hover over the dice, but I have no idea at what stats you stop getting that penalty!

I would assume the talents like tumble will help. Ik it can help evade special attacks, but maybe another talent can help

Good point, I haven't really looked into talents much and they're still whatever I felt like at the time haha, I'll have to do that. thank you for your help and advice :)

Here's something I've been wondering: is it worth it to move out of your pack's first biome? I've never really considered it before, but I'm curious if there are any perks I might be missing out on.

Depending on where you go and how your hunting parties do, it can be beneficial stats wise. It'll allow you to hunt in more difficult biomes which helps hunters increase stats. Some biomes have specific herbs you or your Herbalist can find.
I did it for the hunters, and I like the Glacier. The 2 closest biomes will also be already discovered once your lead changes
