Pack Synergy: Personalities Balanced

I think the current system of friendly+romantic ok, aggressive+stoic ok, it's rather simplistic and unrealistic.

I think hunting parties should be more balanced. I don't get the logic of having 4 friendly and 1 aggressive will fight, but having 5 aggressive it's ok.
And what about 5 friendlies? They'd be playing all the time and wouldn't catch any prey at all!

I do believe hunting parties should be balanced: you need those who keep the party going and working, and those who keep the spirits high.

I'd do this by assigning a value to all 4 personality groups:
Aggressive: 2 points
Stoic: 1 point
Friendly: -1 point
Romantic: -2 points

And your job is to create hunting parties with a total value of 0 (or as closer to 0 as possible).

1 aggressive, 1 stoic, 3 friendlies = 2+1-3 = 0 = perfect: you have a group of friendly wolves kept in check by the aggressive and the no nonsense guy.

What about the opposite option (1 romantic, 1 friendly, 3 stoic)? Equally perfect a group of 3 focused wolves while the other 2 lighten the mood and motivated them.

Maybe you don't get them to sum 0, but maybe 1 or even 2 is not a big deal, while if your party sums 4 or 5 you do get punished.

I think this would be far more realistic, interesting, and challenging, and should be a superior alternative to the "just get nothing but friendly wolves and that's it" version that we have now.

I'm afraid this may add unnecessary complexity to the game. Plus that all the current hunting parties that get along will be punished. It'll be very difficult for every player to get used to the proposed mechanic.
