How to EASILY complete your CRYPTID QUESTS!
Posted 2022-08-29 18:22:04 (edited) #826739 Since doing this, I have been able to knock out so many Cryptid Quests super fast-- so I thought I would share with you all! I am doing both Kinfolk and Independent, so I have information on those two factions -- I do not have specific info regarding the Merged faction, but the technique works all the same. This requires you to have done quite a few quests yourself, however, so you have a log of what quests each cryptid does most often. (If there is a Kinfolk or Independent Cryptid you would like me to give info on, just ask and I'll look in my user log for you!) The Grouse House has some information regarding Cryptid quests: here They are still looking for information, so go give them a hand! Copy and paste the name of the cryptid into your User Log. This will bring up your history of quests with that cryptid. This way, you will know what kinds of quests that cryptid give-- if it's 6 nesting materials or 5 healing salves -- or if it's 3 carcasses or some herbs. Here is my history with The White Stag: It's obvious there's a high chance I will get the quest of giving him herbs -- which is easy for me! And he's one of the cryptids I will often do quests for. If there is a box that says "Completed a cryptid quest for (insert cryptid) and received: +10 reputation with Kinfolk, -5 reputation with Independent, -5 reputation with the Merged, 5 Cryptid Scales." WITHOUT a box under it describing what you gave them, it's a quest that doesn't require you giving them something, like a "defeat 3x ____" or a "catch an uncommon fish". So it's good to keep track (perhaps on paper) which cryptids give the uncommon fish or similar easy quests that don't require you giving the cryptid something, but aren't enemy defeating quests either. It requires a bit of an educated guess. See the example below: It's most likely that this cryptid gives "Defeat 3x___" quests because there is no "gave" boxes, followed up by several skips. I would most likely NOT do quests for this cryptid because I find them difficult. Some cryptids have hunting quests. They show up in the user log as well! Here is another example of a cryptid, The Ball-Tailed Cat, that I will always do a quest for! It's clear I will most likely get a quest to give him rocks or carcasses, which are both easy for me! The two cryptids I know for sure that often ask for uncommon fish are the Snow Wasset, Cadborosaurus, and the Water tiger. Thank you for doing this. Im doing a combination of merged and kinfolk.

The info for kinfolk will really help me.

So far my favorite kinfolk cryptid is the white stag. Getting harry potter 's patrnous vibe from it.
