Noah closed his eyes, resting his head on Astrid's shoulder. He let out a quiet relieved sigh, relaxing into the males touch. He sighed quietly. "Thank you Astrid...." He said softly
He mumbled a response quietly, but it was lost in translation, and even though he felt alright, there was still something that was bothering him. "Hey, has Miles come to talk you you yet.?" He asked, stepping back and crossing his arms.
He slowly shook his head, "No...I immediately came down here.." He muttered, looking at the smaller male. He had yet to speak to miles since Astrid was angry at the both of them
Astrid thought for several moments before coming to a conclusion. "I don't wanna talk to him, to be honest, but he needs someone to help him cool down. I've known him for longer than I have my own father, and I can tell when he's angry. It's when he gets real quiet that I get nervous." He glanced up, messing with the fabric of his sleeves.
"Do....you want to talk to him or me....?" He asked quietly, looking down at the smaller male. He didn't want Miles to upset with him or Astrird. He was wanting everything to go back to normal
"Would you mind talking to him for me? I'll just get pissed off again if I smell the damn cigarettes." Astrid mumbled, glancing up the stairs at Miles' slightly cracked open door. "To be honest, we haven't really fought like this before. We bicker, sure, but.. not like this." He sighed, trailing off near the end.
Noah nodded slowly, "I know...but...everything will get better.." He said quietly. After a moment he slowly walked upstairs. He wanted all this bickering to end..it felt like for him that he was stuck in the middle of it. He gently knocked on Miles door. "Miles..? Can I come in?" He asked softly, shifting his weight
Miles, who had just gotten out of the shower, gave no response. He knew that Astrid had most likely sent him, and he wasn't in the mood to be the middle man right now. He was standing in front of his dresser, drying his hair with a towel.
Noah frowned a little as he stood there quietly for a few more seconds. He sighed quietly, "I just wanna check on you...Miles.." He said quietly. He knew there was a chance Miles would just ignore him again.
Miles hesitated, but eventually opened the door a bit before stepping back and walking over to the dresser to grab a shirt. His hair was still a little wet, but he hardly seemed to notice. The one thing he was sure about was that he wouldn't be the first one to speak. Noah came up here on his own, so Noah would be the one to explain what he wanted.
