Kaia closed her eyes, just listening to the sounds around her. She thought she heard footsteps, and began to panic. Why am I afraid? She pulled her knees up to her chest and made herself as small as possible, but then realised that was just plain stupid. "Hello?" She finally stood up and called. If she was going to die today, then so be it, but she wasn't going to hide from something that probably wasn't even there. "Ugh. . I'm going fucking crazy." She mumbled to herself, standing in the center of a pretty open clearing.

Eva heard the voice of someone echoing from all around her. She stood up quickly, if it came down to s fight..she would rather die than go back to that lab. She moved slowly, using what little woods around her that she could. She moved slowly, using the shadows as well.

Kaia glanced around her, still not seeing anything. After a moment, she pulled out her phone again. She needed to get home and figure this shit out. The lab mysteriously went into lockdown, there's apparently a missing asset- ". . I shouldn't know that. 'Asset'? The lab. . doesn't do live studies." She mumbled to herself, clutching her phone in her hand. "What the hell is going on.?" She groaned, trying to focus on the fragments she'd seen. No matter how hard she tried, though, they were just too fractured and corrupted for her to see what was going on. "Three words and two numbers." She sighed, feeling herself begin to break under the stress. She had no idea what was wrong with her, but she didn't feel safe going back to the lab.

As Eva slowly moved through the woods, she moved carefully. She noticed the figure of someone sitting on the ground. She felt her ears pin back, admittedly ready for a fight. She moved slowly towards the person managing to stay hidden. Though..the moment she stepped on a twig, there was a loud snap. She froze instantly

Kaia spun around when she heard something snap, but she didn't see anything at first. She took a few steps forwards and ended up face to face with the same hybrid girl from before. . Only this time, she could see the girl's face. There was a sharp pain in her temples again, and she almost fell backwards when she lost her balance. She kept muttering curses under her breath, closing her eyes tightly. 3487. 2891. Akira. Dawn. Forget. There were two new words, and she kept saying them to herself over and over again. Something about this girl was causing these lapses, but she couldn't figure out what.

Eva took a step back the moment the girl fell down. She could tell this girl was in pain,-but she didn't really want to help someone from the lab... It wasn't until she heard 3487. It was her ID number, the name all the people called her at the lab. She narrowed her eyes as she pinned her ears back, "H-how know that?" Her sentence was messed up. It had been years since she had actually spoken, most people at the lab had figured she was mute considering she would rarely ever speak.

Kaia glanced up at the girl, but immediately had to look away. "I-I know your f-face-" She winced, trying to steady her breathing. "Y-You- You're 3487, aren't you?" She mumbled, not bothering to look up at the girl. 2891. Akira. Dawn. Forget. She didn't know why the other things were still repeating, but she couldn't make it stop. After almost two minutes, though, she was finally able to look back up again. "Do you- Why do I know you.?" She asked, wondering if maybe the girl knew. She didn't seem to know Kaia either, but there was no harm in asking. She could still hear the alarms blaring in the distance, and suddenly felt a wave of fear wash over her. I hate that sound.

Eva tensed as she heard her 'name' be said. She was about to respond when she heard the alarms blazing. "I need to get out. They are coming for me. " she was quickly, his voice raspy and rough sounding..almost hoarse. "Help me get out"

Kaia froze up a little, but then nodded. She had no idea why she'd agreed to help, she just had to. "Follow me." She told her, taking off in the other direction and sprinting through the woods. They eventually came across a massive parking lot, and Kaia ran to her car. "Get in!" She told her, already getting into the driver's seat and starting it up. She didn't wait long before locking the doors and turning on the window shading. "There's a blanket in the back. Put it above your head and cover your ears." She seemed dead serious, and she was. She could tell they were in danger without even having to ask, and she wasn't going to take any chances.
They pulled up to the ID check out, but she skipped it. Because she was rank three, she wasn't required to go through the scanners every time. She headed straight back to her apartment, trying her best not to attract attention with her driving.

Evan was staring out the window the whole. She continued to watch everything, an amazed but angry look on her face. She saw all the new technology everywhere, all the...changes. She was honestly.. Disgusted by it. This word had changed so much....and she didn't like it. When they got the Kaia's apartment, she was hesitant as she got out of the car. She stared at the apartment, and narrowed her eyes
