He wanted to say something, but easily bit his tongue. It was tempting to make a snarky remark, especially towards people who proved they were idiots.

Akihiko was nervous, cautious and he was only here because this seemed to be the path he was stuck to now. He'd already escaped one, it had drained him of everything he had in him and somewhat left him a shell of his former self. All he had was a former self, he knew he existed as a person before he did now. He struggled with his identity only in this way.

He took a small notepad and pen out from one of the pockets on his black coat, quickly writing a few simple words down. This was how he communicated, apart from using sign language. He wouldn't assume that they knew it. Clicking his fingers to draw the man's attention, he turned the notepad to present his words. 'Why are we here?'

She perked up. "Little girl! I'm taller than he is." She jabbed her thumb at the young guy sitting next to her. "No offense." She added. When he clicked his fingers she looked down at the small notepad now on the table and read what he wrote. Although she desperately wanted to annoy Mr. Suit some more she decided she probably ought to keep her trap shut for the moment, at least until she found out what the job was. She had a whole line up of jabs for this megalomaniac, starting with his posh suit, and ending with the alcohol on his breath that he obviously though they didn't notice. Maybe the little guy was right not to talk, just this guy's stare pissed her off.

He pulled at the collar of the shirt he was wearing, his anger only making the suit more uncomfortable. He ignored her childish comment, looking down at the paper that his favorite out of the two pushed forward. "Ah yes." He pulled two papers out of his suit jacket pocket. He put them on the table, pushing a paper to both of them.

"If you'll open that paper, you'll see three people on the inside. Names, ages, and addresses are under the pictures." He answered, clearing his throat slightly. "Your job is to eliminate them." He said bluntly, his face still blank. He had done missions like this too many times to count. "I will, of course, be going with you to make sure you dont mess up and to help eliminate them in general."

Taking the paper and having a glance through it, his interest was somewhat piqued. What kind of job was this? He couldn't really be fussy, he was in no position to be rejecting offers.

He looked back up at the other white haired man when he mentioned elimination, pondering if he heard him right. Akihiko had thought about doing such a thing to his own family, without hesitation. This was a little different. These were strangers to him, at least as far as he knew in his present life. They were all older, had places to call home, probably friends and more options than he could ever imagine. That made him envious, these bastards were lucky that they'd made it in life.

Despite having thought about murdering another before, he had no experience or training in the matter. He knew how to depose of remains, but he didn't even look like he had the physical strength to take someone down. Maybe that's what made him a good candidate for the job, deceiving looks.

She picked the paper placed in front of her and flipped through it, committing the faces to memory. She raised her eyebrow as she read the info the papers provided. "Jesus," she muttered to herself, "who in their right mind teaches old people to use tech?" She glanced up at Mr. Suit, "I assume we aren't supposed to ask what's your beef with these people?" She'd never really killed anyone before so she wanted a good reason to be doing this. But then again, if this guy was what he made himself out to be he probably knew that. "Did they run over your cat?"

"Oh, and dont worry. You will be given training before starting the mission." He added, his eyes flipping to the girl when she started talking. His jaw clenched, she was really testing his patience. He took an inaudible deep breath, thinking about the things his parents used to tell him to keep him from showing his feelings. None of the turmoil in his brain showed on his face, the same cold expression still in place.

"Listen, I dont know who you are, or what you've been through. And I honestly don't care. If you talk like this to your superiors, especially in this line of business, you will die. Keep that in mind." He said, his eyes narrowed. "I dont have any beef with these people, that I know of. The big boss is the one who has a problem with them, and we all listen to them. Especially fresh meat like you too. Word for the wise, dont catch the boss's attention."

He listened to the two of them speak, not that he'd spoken at all this whole time. The promise being trained eased some concerns in his mind and a new one emerged. He'd have to stay in one place for this, unless the targets moved or he made it quick.

The pay was good, thefe wasn't much room to refuse the offer. Three assassins, three targets, all having regular hotspots and living in the same building. It would hopefully be easy. He wrote on the notepad again, 'When do we start?'.

KEIKIRO

Ugh... everything hurts...

Keikiro groaned, wiping a bit of blood away from his lip. To no surprise, Nobunaga had busted his mouth. Blood and spit clung to his chin, his left eye was blackened, and fresh bruises adorned his arms and face. The poor lad, of only seventeen years of age, had just barely managed to crawl away from the ordeal.

Sighing to himself, Keikiro pushed his aching body into motion, stumbling along the sidewalk and up to his own apartment. Yes, the teen had an apartment, but that didn't stop him from being dragged to his family's home every once in a while. His father, Nobunaga Naonuma, liked to 'greet him at the door', more often than not with a fist to his face.

The chattering of his neighbors got his attention, and Keikiro paused. Did they see him? More importantly, did they see his injuries? Just my luck... he growled to himself. Don't look don't look don't look don't look don't look...

Andras let a smirk-like smile shine through his cold exterior when the man across the table didnt ask any questions. He nodded slightly to himself, "You start training tomorrow. The mission starts when I think you can handle yourself in a fight." He stood up, pushing his chair out.

"Dont mess it up for the boss." He said, talking to both of them. Even if he did prefer the less snarky one, he didnt trust either of them to not mess something up, even something small could let the people boss wanted dead escape. Andras picked up his tumbler, downing the last bit. "If you think I'm unpleasant, you'll think they're down right horrid."

The villain brushed himself off, "now get going. We wont be safe here much longer. And, get some clothes that you can easily fight in, because if you get caught on something that could be it for you." He ushered the two out, shutting the door and locking it. "That girl is going to be a pain in the ass." He sighed to himself, making sure that no one could use anything in the building to trace them. Or at least him. And set off into the alleyway, disappearing into the shadows.

˚˚Avi˚˚

Avi rolled their eyes at Finch's tease, moving over to find glasses. "Water? I think we have juice as well, or wine if you'd like anything stronger." She asked their company, letting her fingers drift over the glasses before she picked them up, making sure they wouldn't slip or anything.

A shuffling of feet and an almost sniffle drew Avi's attention to the still open door, working eye focusing as best it could onto the bloodied figure. She frowned, moving away from the glasses and closer to the door, to the neighbour outside. They'd seen the boy around, never talked but had passed them a few times. They were frozen, almost like a deer in headlights. "You okay love?" Avi called hesitantly, not too sure whether it was her eye failing to work properly or if they were as bruised and battered as they looked. She glanced to Finch, Valentine momentarily forgotten, as if asking him to double check what she was seeing.
