Quick Update

Hey everyone! So, my slots are currently full for CD commissions, but I've just got a couple more projects to wrap up. I wanted to give as much notice as possible that my waitlist will be opening soon, hopefully within a couple of weeks.

Instead of having limited waitlist slots like I have done in the past, I am going to just leave the waitlist open for a few days so that anyone who wants to get on it can! But just keep in mind that making custom decors can be a fairly slow-going process, so it could take some months to get through everyone on the list.

Subscribe to this thread if you're interested, and I'll be sure to post plenty of notice in advance of opening up my waitlist.

Hey, so... I can't wait for several more months. I'm not able to play much, but I was really hoping to have gotten SOMEWHERE further along. (I know that real life comes first, and I'm not upset with you, but... I've gotten in a bad spot. A very bad spot.)

As such, I'd like to be removed from the waiting list, please.

I'm sorry, it has been really difficult juggling commissions (I do other commissions outside of this as well), my job, super challenging IRL circumstances and just life in general

Update

Hey folks,

Unfortunately, I have some news that will likely be disappointing for some of you. I know that last month I promised that I would soon be opening up my waitlist at my current rate ($10/hr), and leaving it open for anyone to join for a few days. After discussing that decision with some dear friends and other artists, I realized that I have both underpriced and over-promised in my desire to make everyone happy. I've gotten to a rather severe point of burnout & overwhelm with all of it (plus difficult IRL stuff), and these friends made me realize that if I go ahead with that plan, I will significantly worsen my burnout, and I won't be able to take the time that I desperately need for a mental health break. As much as it saddens me to disappoint all of the lovely people who have been patiently waiting to get a commission from me, I have to put my best interests first, and remember that I am a human being (a disabled one at that), not a machine.

So, all that being said, after finishing all of my current projects, I will be taking that much needed mental health break. If/when I return to custom decor work, I will be raising my prices to match the skill, time, experience and overhead expenses that go into creating my custom decors; and I will also allow myself to be more selective with what projects I accept or reject.

I really hope that people can understand where I'm coming from, and I sincerely apologize to anyone I have let down. I know it must be really frustrating for some of you who have been waiting a long time. I just really need to take some time for myself and opening up my waitlist to a ton of projects right now would just not be a smart idea. I am still learning my limits and learning how to properly value my skills and my labor.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported my work up to this point.

Pricing Changes & New Ordering System

New Order System - Applications

I will post that a session is OPEN. The session will remain open for 72 hours.
You will reply to this thread with a filled-out order form. (OR you can post here that you're applying, and message your order form to me privately if you prefer to keep your idea private.) Please feel free to PM me with any questions or ask for a quote, I'll be sure to reply before the session ends!
I will choose 2 to 3 projects from each session to take on, plus some recolor projects if there are any requested. I will do ONE decor per slot, with a maximum of 13 poses. Thus, I cannot guarantee your project will be chosen. There will be no waitlisting. I get really burnt out/stressed if I take on too much at once and have a long list of people waiting on me - sorry!
Once the 72 hours is over, I will post that the session is CLOSED and message the customers whose projects I selected. Any unselected projects may be re-submitted during the next session, if you wish.

Pricing Changes

For the base price, I am now asking $20 USD or 80 GC per hour based on my best estimate of how long the base pose will take me to complete. Then I add a variable upcharge per each additional pose & each additional recolor depending on the complexity of the changes needed. Certain package types may incur additional upcharges or discounts so be sure to read through the package types. This pricing is reflective of the experience I have accumulated after 2+ years of doing custom decors, with over 100 decors in-game. My speed, quality & ability have increased drastically over time and I felt it was appropriate to raise my prices, so I would sincerely appreciate your understanding and ongoing support of my work! (Not to mention, cost of living extremely high where I live

)
