Sunrise And Nighttime

is an On-site Wolvden roleplay, basically about a pair of ancient wolf packs who follow their special traditions in a war between them.

~ PACK OF THE RISING SUN ~

Wolves Of The Rising Sun live in the calmest side of the Grasslands, every sunrise gathering on a higher hill to howl and greet the Great Luminary. Pack Of The Rising Sun believes every creature is born and blessed by sunlight, carried up until the sun at death. Though, as they say, every evil is cursed by the nighttime moon, just as Wolves Of The Moon's Rays.

Pelts of the Wolves Of The Rising Sun are mostly warm and light. Black rarely pops in. Eyes can vary a lot, though!

A Sunray is the leader of the pack. As a tradition, they must be the descendants of another Sunray.

Sunblesseds are herbalists. How is a next herbalist chosen? A year before its the death time of the current Sunblessed, five youngest pups of newest litters are carried at the highest hill by sunrise, and which is chosen to be lighted up first, is the next Sunblessed by fate. Right after, they're apprenticed. Sunblesseds are not allowed to have pups for lifetime.

Heatwaves are fierce fighters of the pack, often largest pups of the litters.

  Lightcatchers are the hunters, although never sent to hunt in the Pack Of Rising Sun's home biome.
 
  Dawnsent are the pack's scouts, who work at day to discover the unknown, and carry duty for the night, protecting the pack. The pack has two dawnsents, so while one works day and night, the other one rests for day and night, and so on they exchange. They're not allowed to have pups.
 
Nightduties are pupsitters. Pups get assigned to a Nightduty right after birth, and they're tied until the pup's apprenticeship.

When becoming adolescents, pups are assigned to a single mentor, matching their role.

~ PACK OF THE MOON'S RAYS ~

Lore: POTMR

Pack Of The Moon's Rays are active mostly at night, just like night predators. They don't feel pity for any wolf except of their own's pack, or any living except themselves. If a pup has been lost or gone, they're gone, nobody investigates.

They live in the mountains, right below the highest peaks. The grasslands of Pack Of The Rising Sun appear to be relatively near by the mountains, causing frequent clashes by the borders. Back to POTMR, a few brave Moon Rays might come out in the shadow what the mountain casts, to avoid spending time literally locked in a cave.

Pack Of The Moon's Rays heavily despises the sweetness and light of the Pack Of The Rising Sun. According to that, the Moon Rays gather in a mountainy side, in the largest cave and spend the daytime here, chattering, small tunnels acceding the food pile and some bushes.

Moon Ray Wolves are mostly monochrome and dark, some blue in their pelt often. Eyes vary in colors, though!

Moonrays are fierce leaders of the pack, who got to fight off the previous leader to receive the throne. They must stay up earlier, and duty for the pack.

They don't even have a herbalist.. If you got injured, that's your fate, if you're weak you will die, and strong enough: it's up to you to heal.

Darkbringers are merciless fighters, ruthless murderers of the pack, born to battle. They share the role of hunting, aswell. Darkbringers have large, muscular bodies.

Nightwanderers are the scouts. There are three of them, known to be slim, agile and medium in size.

Shades are pups and adolescents. The pups don't require a pupsitter and are left to survive on their own after weaning.
