Good to know btw- good to know >:3 )) Hiro had been standing in the hall, listening on as Arlo ranted about how great his summer was, but he had been distracted. He knew almost everyone in this school, but he'd never seen this kid before. The kid made eye contact with him, seemingly on accident, and then immediately looked away. "And then she was all like-" "Arlo, who's that?" He interrupted, pointing to the red headed kid walking away. "Oh, he's just some nobody. He's gone here for years, have you really not seen him before?" He replied, sounding almost shocked near the end. "Nah, I don't have time for losers, which means that I also don't have time for you!" He grumbled, jokingly shoving past him. Alr, so are they both Juniors? Or is Avery a Sophomore and Hiro's a Junior? Because if it's the second option, then we'll say that classes are mixed-grade. )) |

Lets say Avery is a sophomore & hiro's a junior! :3)) Avery kept walking, heading towards his class. He had heard what they had said but it didn't bother him...not anymore at least. He sighed as he headed to his History class. He walked inside of the class, and Skye laid down beside his desk as he sat down. |

Hiro was unaware that there had been a change in everyone's schedules, and that homeroom was no longer going to be their first class of the day. He had to run all the way to the history room to not be late, and he barely made it in time. He normally didn't care about these things, but he wanted to start this year off on the right foot. He walked into the classroom and sat down at an empty desk near the back. He wasn't sure if they had a seating chart, but he didn't really care. No one would question him and he knew it. He was getting out his phone when he saw that same boy from earlier. He was sitting at his desk petting a dog. He took one look at the vest and thought, Service dog? What's wrong with this kid? Whatever, not my circus, not my monkeys. He tried not to stare, but he was curious. So he asked, quietly though, since he knew he might get a few confused stares. "Hey, you! Redhead. What's with the dog?" He whispered to him. |

Avery didn't say a word but he glanced at him but didn't say a word. He stayed looking down at his book and continued to pet his dog. The guy beside Hiro looked at him, "He's mute." |

"He's mute." Hiro glanced at the guy next to him, and then back at the boy. He'd never met him before, and he liked the idea that he could make a decent introduction. He tapped the boy on the shoulder and once he was looking, held out his hand. He saw the confusion on his face and whispered, "Telepathy." |

Avery couldn't help but feel a little shocked, but after a moment he reached and touched his hand. The touch was very light, almost hesitant. This is kinda weird.. |

He shifted his weight a little. He seemed a little nervous about this whole interaction. Skye licked Avery's hand gently, and he looked down at her and gave her a small smile. |
