How do you feel about the Lunar Event's theme?

The talk about it seems to have faded more each month since... well, it's not changing from those colors, so it gets exhausting mentioning it every time I guess lol. Personally, I don't like the Lunar Event. I stopped liking it pretty early on, when I realized the colors weren't deviating from the typical blue-black-purple combo. I haven't bought anything from the event since Turquoise, and I didn't even like that base. (Just bought it because it was different.) And this is coming from someone who loves every color. I do think some of the event stuff is nice, don't get me wrong, but it just gets tiring after a while, you know? Particularly when realistic designs are left in the dust when it comes to applied bases/markings. So yeah, how does everyone else feel about the event? Do you enjoy the color scheme and are digging all the pretty blues,, do you like it but still hope there will be more variety, or are you tired of it? I honestly love it, mainly because I'm a hoarder. Airglow seriously wasn't bad, it definitely was not just a mess of blue and purple.

I personally really like the lunar events and it's important to my pack lore as well. I haven't liked every base or marking that has been released upon their release but I do usually find a wolf each looks nice on at the very least. However, it would be nice if they mixed in colors other than blues and the occasional purple like they did with turquoise being a little more on the green side of things. I think colors like silvers/whites, golds/browns and even pinks/whites would be nice every so often since the moon can sometimes reflect those colors. Heck the colors don't even have to be night colors or colors the moon can actually reflect as. Some months could honestly just be based on when the full moon occurs or on it's name. For example, this month's full moon was the day before Easter, a pastel shade or of pink, yellow, green, or lavender would have been fun, and for the Harvest Moon the colors could be autumnal some years just to mix it up a little.
All of that would be nice, but even as the event color scheme is, I don't think I'll skip playing it through any time soon.

I love the lunar events, and I love the colours (there has been some more greenish colours with some of the bases which is cool but I personally prefer the blue - purple ones!) I do wish we could get some more colours but at the same time I feel like it wouldn't fit into that dream-like world that we can explore during the event. I'm less excited about the lunar event now then when it was new, mostly because it's a monthly thing and we experience it so often and there's rarely anything new added to it other than new decor or new enemies.

What I feel like people should talk about is the lack of other events other than the lunar one, we had that one coighreach one but that's it from what I can remember, wolvden's sister site has stuff like easter events from what I've gathered, probably some halloween events too with a lot of new stuff, I wish wolvden could get more events but I think the staff team here is very small so I don't really blame them for not giving us a lot of new things, they're probably doing the best they can with the budget and time they have.

I feel it is unfair to compare Wolvden to Lioden in terms of events. Lioden has monthly events every month because Lioden is much older than Wolvden and has added all those events and bases and all that variety slowly over time. Lioden started with no events, and even when events were first introduced, they weren't the story focused things a lot of them are now. As Wolvden's first month-long event, Coigreach was awesome. If they feel the need to take their time with the monthly events to make all of them unique and interesting like that, I say they take all the time they need.

As for the Lunar event, it's not my thing aesthetically (I prefer more natural colors and decors), but it's a neat thing to have that is unique to Wolvden (ie: not something transplanted from Lioden), and given that Lioden took quite a while before they started adding in really unnatural bases and such, I'm sure it's great for players who like that sort of thing to have so many available earlier on in Wolvden's life! And there are enough players who DO like the bases and markings that I have had no trouble selling applicators later on, so while the Lunar event may not be good for my wolves, it's good for my wallet, and I can appreciate that.

It's cool to see what the new base, markings and eyes are when they are released, and I'm sure the devs have plans on where they will take the event colors-wise, so I look forward to seeing where the event goes in the future!

I rather like the lunar event, partly because it's a fairly low stress deal and if I don't like the apps one month I can just save all of my lunar tears for later. I don't think the emphasis on blue/purple will be such a big deal once there are more events/sources of special bases tbh.

Personally, I Like The Lunar Events, As Its An Easy Way For Me To Earn GC. I Like The Colors, But What I Wish They Could Do Is Different Blue And Purple Hues For Their Decor. Cause Right Now They're All The Same Blue And Purple.

I love the lunar event aesthetic, since blue is my favorite color. Losna is basically my dream base. Moonlight/airglow/caelum are all gorgeous. Selene and luna have really good design potential, especially when comboed with other lunar marks and bases. In the future I'm hoping we get a dark teal base and maybe an interstellar/starry night base as well.

However, I do kinda wish we had more variety in new bases and markings being released. If the devs said "We're putting lunar events on hold for the next couple months so we can release badger & a blood moon base & more henna marks" I'd be happy with that. It'd probably be more fun for the site artists too; they could flex their creativity instead of having to do blue bases/marks all the time.

Really I just want more content overall. Getting only one new base every couple months is starting to feel stagnant, and I feel bad for people who don't like blue as much as I do.

I like the lunar event colors but they need more variety. It would be cool if they did something like a contest where members can design bases for events :D
