How do you feel about the Lunar Event's theme?

@Nuke I'd love if they did that. This site has so many amazing artists and it'd be a cool way to mix things up.

I have to say that I've never liked the Lunar Event bases/markings. I like the aesthetic just fine in backgrounds and decors, but not on wolves. I like a more natural look to wolves and I've actively avoided event colors in wolves I've bought or studded. I've also never bought a Lunar Event applicator, which is why I have 7000 lunar tears. If they shifted away from the blue/purple and moved toward red/orange/yellow, I might change my mind.

If they feel the need to take their time with the monthly events to make all of them unique and interesting like that, I say they take all the time they need.

I agree with this sentiment. Aside from that, I have enjoyed the recurrent Lunar Event even if, like others have expressed, I was not keen on a base or marking at the time it was added. I have only missed one rollover of Lunar Week since the Lunar Event was implemented, and that was due to a road trip/wedding. I like how it has slowly evolved over time, with more added: trophies, enemies, encounters, recipes, and even the LT being much more accessible (I am extremely grateful for the last, even as someone not currently in the workforce).

I also appreciate that we're not being overloaded with "special" events as sometimes happens with mobile games, for example. Constantly having "you earned [yet another] reward!" notifications can be its own kind of tedious.

I am very okay with how content is being given to us. Coigreach was great, and I look forward to more events similar to that - good story, transparency of rewards once they noted community concern in that regard, and it functioned decently for me (I understand it was not the same for everyone). The Lunar Event feels unique to me compared to how some games handle holidays, too. I much prefer the constancy of the Lunar Event, then the little gifts we can spontaneously (as in, I did not expect anything, and we got something, cool!) claim on special days like Turkey Day (among others). I like how they've been doing event things, period.

I like the Lunar Event. :)

We gotta say special apps are special in their own way - they're specially demanded by certain group of players while others don't find them attracting - I'm the latter part, I'm one of those who prefers natural looks. I like some decors and eyes with ordinary pupils though.

When first event apps came out, I bought a lot of each kind and while I had them a lot, I applied every kind of app along with 4 event markings on a wolf just to have a special one but it was so ugly and made me quickly regretted it.

I've come to terms with the fact that all apps would be blueish. However, there will always be somewolf who'd be really happy to acquire new apps even though from our point of view these are nothing but another shade of blue. And I made this no problem to me because I can use apps for profiting purposes.

The main advantage of Lunar Event apps for me is that these are some of very few items that have market potential.
