[Farren | Half Angel] Farren's nose wrinkled slightly at the acrid smell and their eyes flicked towards the small bit of smoke curling from underneath his shoe. Ew. Looking back at him they smirked slightly, side-stepping and brushing past with a small jolt as they bumped her shoulder into him, pushing forward. Her eyes flicked towards another store, nothing special, just food. If he was planning on following he'd be rather disappointed to see she just planned to continue her shopping. No use trying anything else if there were any more people lurking in the shadows. She could come back another day, see what else she could squirrel away. |

Gasper gently rocked on his heels to keep upright after she hit him. Bold! Another point to her devilish nature. Was she like him, he wondered? Do you just go up to someone and ask if they're a demon too, do you risk the wrath of holiness? He knew it was also incredibly possible that he was just gross. He was aware of this. It didn't bother him. Instead of bothering her further, he simply watched her push pash. His form slid into the embrace of shadow once more. Perhaps someone more easily drawn to debauchery would find him again. He flicked his lighter open idly. An anglerfish in the deep. |

The Empath girl knew she was lost. She didn't mind being lost; it meant more time away from home, wherever her home really was. Her icy blue eyes glinted with something that looked almost kind. But she wasn't kind. She was a demon. Well, she could be kind, if she wanted to. Her Empath senses flared as she spotted a flickering flame. It looked like a trap, or maybe just a demon. Either way, the Empath wasn't sure she could trust it. It could easily be a demon. The natural demon essence pouring off it... no, it could be a human... no, it has to be a demon. She stood there, half-hidden in shadows. Her eyes gleamed in the darkness. She didn't move. |

Farren continued their shopping, considering a packet of oats or something similar. They hd no use but maybe the birds would like it.... they sighed and picked it up, checking the price and popping it into her basket. After another few things they returned to the front counter, waiting for the shop owner to ring up all the items. They payed and muttered a 'thank you' before heading out of the shop. Maybe something cheap and sweet before they left for home. [Dante | Demon] The cat dropped to the ground, dropping off a small box. He could sense a few non-humans around. More than he thought but the cat's sense of smell certainly helped. At least one angel but there was a faint companion to them, still angel but not as easily scented. A demon. That was Gasper. He'd seen the large demon around, never going too close to that group but they left easy pickings in their wake. A weak angel. Maybe half angel? Strong in the terms of whether they were around but it was weak and mixed too easily with human smell. And another demon but either just arrived, half demon, or maybe both. Only whispers on the wind for that one. Dante sneezed, shook out his fur and carried on with his plans for the day. A small meat store and as predicted, something close enough to the edge that he could grab. Sulking around the back Dante waited for the owner to move away, going to help another customer and leaped onto one of the tables covered with meat. Perfect! He snatched a decently sized but still easy enough for him to carry chunk of meat. How wonderful, it was practically made for him! Dante dropped off the table before someone called out for the cat and trotted away, slipping through the crowd before letting himself gloat silent, tail waving high in the air. |

The demon looked up briefly, seeing the stranger he met earlier leave a building in the distance. She didn't check for him. No matter. He lit another cigarette and watched the edge burn for a moment before tucking it into his mouth. Even if she was a bit unusual, their encounter was familiar to him. There were slim pickings for him this time of day. It would be easier again during nightfall, when humans craved a bit of excitement. The crowd flowed in the street but didn't falter into his alley. Gasper flicked the butt of his cigarette to the ground where it rested among dozens of its brethren. Despite the lack of bodies, he could feel eyes on him in the supernatural way even humans can. Sometimes it was in the crowd, a simple distrustful glance, and sometimes it was lingering. He knew he was being watched. Even so, it didn't really bother him. If they were close and hidden, they were probably like him- a demon, or trouble with a heartbeat. Gasper prepared to move if needed. He prepared to snap himself invisible. But would be have to? Probably not. |

"I'm going to guess you're a demon," Said the Empath from the shadows. Her words were clearly directed to Gasper, though she didn't know his name yet. (Sorry it's so short. Convo's are hard for me to have longer posts with. Or attempted convo's. Both the same.) |

((That's ok! I'll do this real quick)) Gasper's lighter clicked closed fast, the only sign he was surprised. His head gently turned to the voice's direction, though he kept his eyes on the busy street. "I didn't expect you to be so direct," he chuckled, "I'm guessing we are one in the same, considered you haven't attacked me yet. What can I do for you?" |

"Not completely the same. And why do you think I would need something from a pesky demon like yourself?" The Empath knew that her words were kind of sad, but as long as she wasn't seen, her words were fair. Such an expectant brat this one is. I surprised him though, not easy to do with a demon, She thought. "What's your name?" She asked. |

Gasper shrugged, not offended, "I don't know. I guess you might not need something from me, but you're the one who who talked to me first." He grinned at the darkness. It didn't matter to him if his direction was correct, it mattered to him that they could see it. "My name is Gasper. I guess people don't come to me when they need something. Humans rarely need anything. Allow me to correct myself. What do you want, hidden 'not completely the same' demon?" |
