You could just have one message for all replies! I personally have one base reply that I edit based on the trick or treater, and it works pretty well!

One thing that I've done that could help keep things interesting is randomizing which wolf answers the trick-or-treaters and then writing the reply based on their personality. For example, a Selfish wolf may be reluctant to hand out treats since they want them all for themself, while a Helpful one may give the trick-or-treaters tips on how to get around their territory or something like that.

Ohh, that's so interesting actually! I've never thought about having multiple replies based on personalities. I always just have one reply that I change slightly in the beginning of the month to match the new alpha, but it still has that same eerie vibe, which I love lol

I have way to many wolves in my pack to randomize that though sadly, i suppose i could randomly scroll and land on one

Fair. The way I do it is I just assign all of mine a number based on where they are on my den page and randomize the numbers, but the counting would probably get a little tedious after a certain point, especially with big packs (I know I've gotten a bit annoyed once or twice, and I have less than 40 lol)

Quick question, I've had a couple of people now who have tricked me and not given me anything, which obviously I don't mind because it's just a fun game, but if they trick or treat me back should I be tricking them back as well and not giving them anything too? What's the etiquette here? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

From my understanding when you "trick" someone you still send something. Its a bit unfair if they don't, collecting things but not giving is basically the same as actively ToT but having ur lights off.
