Current question is how can I get a stockpile of food without starving my wolves? |

When it comes to food, you have several ways to build up your stock. It's winter right now, which means hunts fail more often, and you get more Critter and Small hunts rather than Medium and Large hunts. In winter, try to send your wolves out on the hunts that have the highest percentage change of success. Some food is better than a bunch of totally failed hunts. Make sure your hunters have personality types that get along and don't clash. That will boost how successful they are. Personalities can also be changed with an item you can buy from one of the Snake shops. Here's a personality guide: link Try to send a single hunting party out as many times a day as possible to level them up. Higher level/stat wolves are better at hunting and can take down bigger prey (meaning more food uses per hunt). Try not to break up or add a single new hunter to a hunting party if you don't have to. This drops their Synergy and makes them fail more often. I try to group similarly aged wolves together in a hunting party to avoid having to disrupt them when one wolf dies of old age and I have to add a replacement. Non-hunting options also include fishing (here: link ) and exploring. Submitting bigger fish gives you delicate meat. Explore as much as you can, and try to learn which options tend to yield small/medium food rewards. It adds up quicker than you think. |
