CSS, how to make now?

I wanna write my own CSS codes for Wolvden, but I am an absolute beginner and I wanna find a guide of how to do it from an absolute zero.
Yes, I found a guide, but it's outdated.
Will there be more?...

The guide that #202 made is still worth going over and largely accurate. There's a template linked there that is very helpful for starting out, too. The main thing is once you upload the file (and adjust the link if it's dropbox) you just link it into the area at the bottom of your den/profile page that says "CSS Files" instead of using a link rel attribute. Otherwise, a lot of learning CSS is just playing around and experimenting. It's like a language; it becomes easier to understand and figure out when you actually use it. #202's guide has a bunch of links at the bottom to other websites like W3Schools that explain everything, you can experiment a bit there, etc.

I used the template and coded a bit. But when I upload the dropbox link, the den page just stays blank and I also noticed in other free css layouts the dropbox link looks very different, even adjusted. Tried multiple times but the code inserting does no results.

Did you make sure to generate the share link so its public?

Ohh, that probably was the problem. Also, I can't download Notepad so is CotEditor a working replacement?

Yes. As long as you can save the file as .css.
