@Syndrrin You could, but it costs a lot to get a new breeding male before the cooldown is up, so I'd recommend finding one you're 100% happy with before you set one. If you have the GC to give the others more markings, that would be a good route. Otherwise selling would be your best option.

@LuthiafTheWolves Go to Chatter, select the appropriate board and sub-category for your thread, click "New Topic" in the bar on the top, and then write whatever you want in your thread. Let me know if you need further assistance!

Hey y'all, newbie here (well technically a semi-newbie since I came from Lioden- are we allowed to say the L word here?)

Anyways, I'm doing the quests right now and I don't have enough wolves for every role. I'm thinking about buying some from other players, so my questions are

1) how hard is it to accumulate Silver Cones without a good breeding male? I heard there aren't many ways outside of games and exploring.

2) what's a good price for a regular wolf with a couple of markings? I'm not familiar with what markings are considered high value yet.

Also I'd love to know the current meta on here, so my PMs are always open for that stuff

@Noxaura

1) I get most of my SC by selling spare food, toys, and medicine on the TC. Now that pair bonds are a thing, however, and you don't need to just consider if there's a boy you really want to breed, I'd say it's definitely worth waiting to set a breeding male until you find one that you think will bring in some currency. (You'll unlock pair bonding after playing for 30 days.)

2) The most high value markings are ones you can't get out of Grove items - namely Merle, Merle Patches, Tamaskan Unders, Inuit Unders, Smoke, Shaded, and Points. Certain colors are also valuable as you can only get them through breeding - Auburn, Silver, Zircon, and a few others. Check out one of these guides (One) (Two) for more info. The pup market jumps around a lot so it's hard to say how much any given pup is worth, but a Tier I with two or three markings is probably only worth 10-20SC, possibly more or less depending on stats.

@HollowWorld7

Thanks for the info! I hadn't even considered pair bonds- now that's an interesting mechanic. I think I'll save up my SC and invest in more valuable wolves. Or maybe I'll breed what I like. Either way, thanks again!

I don't know if this is the correct section where I can ask, but you said you can help newbies so here I am ^^

I recieved a pup that has 0% survival chance and I really don't know what to do. I gave her a personal pupsitter with 90% protection but it seems it has no effect, so is there a possibility to her to survive or not? Actually my pupsitter has 100% in hunger and mood but I don't see anything different, should I wait the next rollover?

Thank you in advance for your patience

Is there a simple guide to learn more about breeding and pair bonding? I can only breed with ONE breed wolf, right? What is pair bonding then?

@Raven The pupsitter protection is like... artificial survival chance. So if the pup has 0% survival chance with 90% pupsitter protection, she has a 90% chance of surviving rollover. The pup being 100% hunger and mood will raise her survival chance by 7% at next rollover.

@alex 🌿✨ You can have one breeding male in your pack. This wolf can breed with any females in your pack, and be put up for public stud for other players wolves to breed with. After you have rolled over 30 times you will unlock pair bonding, which Tala will explain to you. Basically, this allows you to bond two wolves together. If they are a male and female wolf then that male will be able to breed with that female. He won't be able to breed with anyone else (the female in the pair bond will still be able to breed with the pack's breeding male or an outside stud).
