DOG FACTS ( EVERYONE WELCOME TO REPLY)

@Scottie

For doodles I have something to add.
Currently I have a really sweet golden doodle, but I once had a doodle who was very violent and even drew my blood.
I found that she hated people who wanted to play with a toy. Her new owner told me that she loved to be chased, chase, and roll in snow. Didn't know that when I got rid of her.

Their sense of smell is at least 40x better than ours. ...
Some have such good noses they can sniff out medical problems. ...
Dogs can sniff at the same time as breathing. ...
Some dogs are incredible swimmers. ...
Some are fast and could even beat a cheetah! ...
Dogs don't sweat like we do.

Part of the reason that dogs are so useful when it comes to hunting and other activities is that they can follow your gaze to objects and animals. This is helpful because it allows us to give dogs non-verbal cues. Gaze following between species is much rarer than in between animals of the same species. This also helped with domestication because it helped create social bonds between humans and dogs!

Some dogs have double coats, which consist of a shorter, fluffier undercoat and then longer, coarser hairs that make up the second coat. The double coat system helps dogs insulate from the weather. Shaving a double coated dog can lead to a bunch of problems with temperature regulation and skin health

Did you now some dogs can understand up of 1000 words? Whataboutbunny on tiktok is part of a experiment to see how well dogs can learn words and use them to communicate through buttons!

She's very talkative and some users on tiktok have even tried the button training on cats too! The only one I can think of right now is Justinbieverthecat (I think that's the username). But yeah it's very exciting!
