If events were negative like that I would stop playing. I am having trouble enough with illnesses to increase the frequency. Herbs are already difficult enough to find due to the huge variety required and not having access to the necessary biomes.

That's why if it was based on sickness I'd say to ensure it isn't highly deadly. And I think that's where a blood moon event could come in too! Rather than an illness event, it would be related to a blood/harvest moon!

I haven't been having many problems with finding salves and herbs, I don't even have a healer yet actually. For my main wolf, I won't fight if I have low health unless the opponent is a way lower level. If you haven't I'd maybe put more focus into scouting if it's that big of an issue land-wise.

Okay so I like speculating so this might end up being a long post...

Specific Event Ideas

For Halloween I could see something like different encounters, and possible actions. Like, some could give your wolf and illness and some could give you a 'treat' which would vary in rarity. A super rare one could raise one of your wolves from the dead! It would be a more serious 'trick or treat' kinda thing.

Thinking about a harvest moon and stuff maybe just different herbs appearing that you can use to create cool things (like a marking change or something)

Thanksgiving would probably be food related, everyone gets a food bundle, or turkey encounters are more common.

Christmas I can imagine a advent calendar style thing, if you log in each day you get a lil something. And on Christmas you get a bigger present. Also things to get the community to give things to eachother? Like you could gift things all throughout December, and then the person would receive all the items on Christmas day. There would have to be some way of ensuring each person gets something, maybe everyone donates to a 'pool' of goodies that gets distributed evenly among the players? Idk there are a lot of kinks that need working out for that one...

New year, maybe everyone gets to move their territory or rename their pack for free that day? I dunno

Valentines day - breeding event, like on that day every wolf goes into heat and fertility is up one level? Everything goes back to normal the next day

Saint Patrick's day- everyone is more lucky in general? Hunting success, breeding success, battle success, for one day

Easter - eggs you collect that day can be broken open for a small surprise

Event Activity Ideas

- change the site 'theme' (still an option to keep it normal)

- new encounters/encounter text

- new resources and wolves to find in explore

- slightly change game mechanics for a day

- new 'special' items and gc to be found

- special items could be hidden around the website, like on each page there is a chance something will appear

- for a really crazy one- make finding dogs possible in explore

- members collaborate to meet a common goal

So... yeah those are my theories/guesses (I haven't played lioden so I don't know what their events are like)

I hope that they would incooperate creatures and figures from European to North American  folk tales and myths :0

I'm just such a sucker for folk tales,it would of been fun,

You don't necceserly need to choose the folk tales about them but sure.

I would LOVE to see some Native American references and/or event encounters mixed in. Maybe one where you have to work with a local tribe to ward off evil spirits or a plague (rabies? Distemper?) is decimating wolf packs all over and you have to do quests to gather herbs for the tribe to make into cures to fight the infections

You know what might be really cool? If they add Human encounters. Maybe Wolvden is set in a historic setting, where indigenous people/tribes were prevalent. Maybe humans could be something wolves befriend or attack? Hard difficult on both, of course. Or maybe there are hunters, like mountain men or fur trappers that are a difficult encounter? Maybe a future event could be The Hunting Season, where things are a bit more difficult like Winter? Or maybe there is a migration event, where big herds of elk/caribou travel across the biomes and gathering and encounter rates are increased?
