Hi there, I joined the site today, but I'm at a bit of a loss :( I've already completed three quests from the snake, but I didn't get any money.
I only have 2 SCs (obtained from fishing) and while exploring, all I'm finding is Smoky Quartz which seems to be an event currency.
I would love to buy another wolf, but it's extremely hard to earn money.
Also, I have two puppies at the moment, but their survival rate is not at 100% and I can't figure out why... I've already assigned them a pupsitter as suggested in the tutorial, but that didn't help :/ 		Nightfury

Hello!
SC can be earned through the questing on the snake. They should be giving you money, I'm not sure why they didn't. You can also sell items you find in the trading center. I won't sell any food or amusement as you may need them for your wolves.
Furthermore, yes, smoky quartz and Large smoky quartz is an event currency from an event that's been running all night.
I wouldn't really buy a wolf, but that's my personal opinion. If you want a wolf, find one in explore and try to befriend them. If you don't have a hunting party yet, I would try to set one up as soon as possible. Have one wolf for each role so the roles don't drain all of your wolves energy.
Pupsitters need to build up profiency. They do something, but they can't immediatly fill the entire bar up depening on how low the survival rate is.

Thanks a lot! I've mistaken the beginner quests for the daily quests ^^' I figured it out now and managed to earn enough SCs to expand my territory. And you were right, I've actually found a number of wolves while exploring! :D
But in order to get a Tier 2 Base, I will have to buy a wolf eventually, right? 		Nightfury

Pupsitter protection is also divided up between pups - a pupsitter that can offer 60% protection and is watching two puppies will give them each 30% protection. So getting more pupsitters can help get everyone to 100% if you have enough wolves.

Once you reach level 10 you will be able to find wolves other players have chased, which may be Tier 2, or even Tier 3 if you're really lucky. At level 15 you can find special NBWs, which have special markings, eye colors, or Tier 2 bases. Special wolves will be indicated by a star next to their sex symbol.

Hi there, thanks for all of your good advice, I'm slowly getting the hang of it <3
But there's one thing I've been wondering: During one of the beginner quests, the tutorial wolf said that I can only pick ONE male for breeding until the day he dies. Did I get that right? If so, can I at least make the other male wolves studs for other players' females? 		Nightfury

@Nightfury - You can pick one stud male, and decide to either keep them private or set them as a public stud for a set price, where another player can then send you a stud request, which you can accept or deny. You can choose to retire a stud early for 20GC, I believe, or wait until that stud passes away and pick another.   Hope this helps, if I got anything wrong, someone is welcome to correct!

In addition, while you only have the one breeding male/stud, who can breed with any female, after 30 rollovers you'll unlock pair bonding, which is like wolf marriage. Males in a pairbond will be able to breed with their female partners.
