GOOGLE DOC COMPILATION LINK by 📚 Ophelia ⚔️ #1241 So I'm sure grousehouse or someone may swoop in and make a more organized version of this, and if so anyone is more than welcome to take any info gathered here ^^ ! I'm not the best at organizing or coding, but the new lore hints have me super excited and intrigued. At some point perhaps I'll try and organize stuff according to biome / herbalist text in a spreadsheet So until someone makes something better at least we can get a hopeful head start on recording So I just wanted a place where people can copy/paste the new event flavor texts/interactions to compile and reflect on ! Screenshots are welcome, as is copy/pasted text. If a biome encounter please include what biome it was in and any relevant text you're able to gather ^^ i.e. Encountered in Swamp "A wolf hurries to get past you, carrying a strange plant in its mouth. The plant looks weird, and unlike any you've seen before. What have you got there / Take (picked what have you got) The wolf looks at you incredulously for a moment before tilting his head to better reveal the plant. It's small and green, with four egg-shaped leaves, and a mop of white fluffy petals on top. The wolf drops the herb to speak. "It's clover, obviously. Don't you know your herbs?" Bewildered by your blank expression, the wolf scoops it back up again and walks off, shaking his head as he goes. You notice a small object kicked up by the wolf's paws and tuck it away for safekeeping. You got +1 SQ !" |

A strange, ginger rodent is sitting comfortably on the ground, minding its own business. It's definitely a squirrel but why is it so bright? And why are its ears so pointy? Sniff it / Chase it (chose sniff it) You go a bit closer to check out this strange fur. Is it even real? Is this squirrel ill, or is it a new mutation? You want to ask this question but when you open your mouth, the squirrel escapes in fear, leaving the tiny object it was holding in its paws. You got +1 SQ ! |

You cannot tell if it's a snake, a lizard or a worm. It shows snake-like movement but is much slower and it's amusing to observe it. [Poke it] or [Eat it] You touch the creature with your nose, making it move further away. You notice it was resting on a strange, small object and take it with you. You got +1 SQ ! |

Is this a hallucination or is some strange, malevolent magic playing with your mind? It should be impossible to see a deer here. [Come closer] or [Observe] You decide to keep your distance in case it's a magic trick or something more sinister. After all these stories you've heard, you want to remain cautious. The deer inspects the area and looks confused or even panicked. It's clear that it shouldn't be here. You need a moment to gather your thoughts and move further. You got +5 HP! |

A large cat, similar to a lynx from colder regions inspects the area carefully and it looks undecided about where to go next. You would say it is a lynx but it's much larger and its fur looks more golden. Familiar at the first sight, strange at second. [What are you doing here?] "You tell me." The large lynx stares at you with its piercing gaze. "What is this place? I don't recognize anything. Oh... I found this. Take it, I'm done with strange things for today. I just want to go home". You got +1 SQ ! |

Nepthys Foresight returns with a bundle of herbs in her mouth. She places what she has found in front of your paws with a wag of her tail. She brings your attention to a strange plant among the mix. "I found this as well.. I'm not sure what it is, it may have some use but I can't be certain." 1x Arnica, 1x Charcoal, 1x Meadowsweet, 1x Recipe: Blooming Garlic |

A strange bird walks in front of you cautiously, inspecting the area. Its reddish plumage draws your attention. It stands out oddly in this land, and it's unlike any bird you've seen before. Its scent is also unfamiliar to your nose. [Approach] or [Chase] At first you only wanted a closer look, but now... well, you're certainly hungry and it probably tastes like chicken. The bird may not be from around here, but it's no challenge to you. You got +5% hunger! |

A lone wolf crosses your path, both lost and sad. Thinking he may know something about what's been going on, you approach him. What Happened? "I was responsible for them... two young wolves from my pack went missing during a hunting lesson yesterday. I can't return without them." There is clear determination but no hope in his voice and you just listen in silence. You offer up some information about your journey and some possible clues that may help. The wolf gratefully gives you something he found while looking for the puppies. You got +1 SQ ! 🥺 Desert You come upon a wolf standing very still and staring off into the distance, appearing to be deep in thought. Is Something Wrong? "Everything is wrong. The world as we know it is changing. I've seen them... the lights. They keep appearing out of nowhere. Following me, haunting my dreams... Listen to me and escape somewhere safe. This land is cursed and it all started from this. I found that thing a couple of days ago. Do me a favor and destroy it, maybe it will change something for the better." The old wolf doesn't even let you get a word in edgeways, and pushes an object into your paws. You assume he won't take no for an answer, so take it with you. You got +1 SQ ! |

Its scent is also unfamiliar to your nose. Approach / Chase You want to take a closer look--there's something weird about this bird and you want to figure out just what it is. Unfortunately the bird sees your approach as a danger, and it flies away. You notice something falling from its feather and quickly scoop it up. You got +1 SQ ! Tundra Weird balls of light appear up ahead of you. They glow brightly and seem to be formed in different sizes - though the larger ones are the most dazzling. Approach You approach the lights in a strange, hypnotic daze. The lights never seem to get closer, and as they grow dimmer you feel a deep disappointment. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tundra A young wolf is walking alone, looking both excited and confused. His face lights up when he notices you and it's clear that he can barely contain himself. Tell me everything you know "This is incredible! I thought I know this area well, all the good hunting spots and all... but something strange is happening lately." The young wolf keeps describing animals and plants you've never seen or heard of before. At some point, you're not sure if this kid is making things up or not, but his emotions seem true. To try to convince you more, he gives you a strange thing he found next to some of the unknown plants. You got +1 SQ ! Tundra A young wolf is cowering on the ground, its eyes white and wide with terror. Are you okay? "The lights... they keep following me... I can't... escape them..." The young wolf splutters her words out between gasping breaths. Before you can reply to ask more, she gets up and runs away, leaving you clueless. What lights? Oh--she left something behind. You quickly swipe it up. You got +1 SQ ! |
