Exactly what the title says, i have the eye app recipe for fox eye but i want to find the base recipe myself, and i need fox trophies to make them

Foxes are hard to farm. My fave place for them is prairie, you can find, red, gray, and swift foxes there, though TBH I don't even know if the swift ones (or arctic, come to think of it) can drop the recipes.

If I'm not mistaken, any fox (well, any that's over level 5) has a chance to drop either recipe. And that's the only trick I can think of to help get more trophies. Only enemies that are level 5 and up have a chance to drop a trophy, with the chance getting better the higher the level (ex. a level 6 Red Fox has a lower trophy drop rate than a level 17 Red Fox). And also just battling a lot.

As for the best place, the prairie has Red, Gray, and Swift Foxes, though for the recipes, you'll only need specific trophies from Red and Gray foxes (I mean, also canine claws/fangs but those can come from wolves too). If I remember right, Red Foxes can be found in every biome except Desert and Glacier (I'm pretty sure). Gray Foxes are for sure not in the Glacier or Tundra.

The best place to find canines is the prairie, and when looking for red foxes I had good luck in the coniferous forest. I get more gray foxes in the swamp, and there's a chance for red foxes there too.

The higher level your lead the easier it is to find trophies, and you should fight all foxes level 5+. If fox items are your only goal I'd say fight everything +-5 levels of you until you hit level 20, and then only fight red/gray foxes (when the event's not on of course).

Thank you all! This helps me alot ^^ I have gotten a tail, and some canine claws/fangs but i didn't realize how expensive the fox recipes were till i got the eye one ^^ 		Roach

So this is related to this question - does anyone know if Lucky Foot improves the chances of getting a trophy?
