@Vexim, it really is awesome how much info for 3D stuff their is online now!! i'm glad that your teacher let you use Zbrush for your project, i've said it before (and i'm very biased haha) but i really do love zbrush as a program!!

Hello guys! Everyone's art here is so cool, I love browsing the forum just looking at people's art <3

I'm a self-taught digital artist with about 7 years of experience. I don't really hang out on any "big" social media so most of the stuff I draw is for myself or friends. Here's an icon I did for one of them recently, cats are definitely my strongest suit. For anyone curious, I use Paint Tool SAI and a Wacom One tablet.

@Hermi love your style! your situation sounds very similar to mine. i use art as more of a personal hobby than a social hobby if that makes sense, although i've been debating trying to get into the art scene online! i think it would be a fun way to meet new people, but i guess i just don't like the idea of there being any pressure involved with something i do primarily for my own enjoyment.

@Rullien Thank you sm! I used to be very active on DeviantArt but it's pretty much dead by now. I started making animations and joined a community of people from YT who do just that, and they're really amazing. We have our not-so-little-anymore group and that's where I like to be. There's too much pressure from being in larger communities and social media are just... very, very exhausting. I do plan on being more active in the WD art community once I clear out my to-do list and open my art shop :0

@Hermi no problem! yeah i used dA a lot when i was like 12-14 then sorta petered out. that's super cool that you found a group you like!! i used to be a part of a smallish rp community on dA and that's when i was the most content with my online presence artwise. i'm gonna try to get more involved with the WD art community too, so far it looks really promising! lots of cool people and art styles already and i've only been here since the public launch, so i'm excited to see how the community grows here!

I always post something in here, I hope you guys don't mind lol. But yeah I've been looking into trying so animation, I just really like the idea of bringing a character to like and telling a story of their story. Do y'all have any recommendations on where I should start, or any tips on animation?  

@Kirai that looks pretty cool tho! I like the teeth, I sometimes struggle with drawing open mouths. Practice makes it perfect!! I don't have an art shop with SC/GC prices set up yet because I've been kind of busy and stressed out lately (this month is cursed I'm telling you) but if you're interested or just want to see more examples of my art, I have a doc with my prices linked on my profile!

@Rullien I used to RP a whole lot, especially on Flight Rising and Lioden, and I may just come back to it on Woldven now. I'm a bit iffy though, since my ability to commit to long-term things dwindled significantly over the years and I give in to my hyperfixations too easily to keep anything unrelated going strong haha. It's kind of a struggle but I love roleplaying! I'm so excited for this community to grow and I'm looking forward to making some more friends

Oh my gooood the animation community on yt, huge nostalgia!! My friends and i used to make animation memes and MAP parts all the time. I'm glad to hear it's still active, i haven't been around for a long time and i thought it had died out by now hahaha ^^

Man, i gotta get into animating & 3d modelling again- seeing all your guys' stuff is incredibly inspiring orz

I make a lot of MAP parts but I slowed down significantly once school started again, all this stress is bad for motivation ahaha. It's still very active though I stray away from the Warrior Cats ones and highly prefer multifandom ones, I could draw edgy catified anime characters for a living.

3D modeling is like, dark magic for me, but the stuff some people make is astounding. Good luck!
