There was one thing that kept bugging me for a few days. While the 'common' heterochromia requires parents with blue/brown and black/white eyes the other method is a slight mystery for me. The new eyes, Smoke, can 'fail' to heterochromia as well but I can't understand what is the second parent's eye color requirement. Can it be any color ? Or can it be any color that can 'fail' into white or black ? I crossed Lux and Smoke eyed wolves and it resulted in black-white heterochromia. |

there is no second requirement for smoke eyes to fail into heterochromia. from what i understand if an eye color can fail into another, breeding them to any other eye color can produce the failure colors. hope this helps! |
