First of all, I cannot thank each of you enough for how much you've all helped me with my poor boy's looks. You really didn't have to take on this challenge, and yet you did! You're all incredibly talented, but I had to choose a top three. I ran through this list a lot.. ;-; In First Place, we have tacobell101921 with their amazing design! link! <3 I found a specific kind of presence in their design that works well with King's lore, and I kept gravitating towards it! Although the main thing I wanted to exploit with the Losna base and Azure eyes was the way it makes the eyes appear glowing, I found it rather endearing that the White Butcher makes his eyebrows look furrowed. In my lore, King is a little.. traumatized.. so I found this subtle expression change appropriate. In Second Place, we have FancySomeone with their design! link! <3 This design really fit well with my original perception of who King should be- a wolf with an intimidating presence! I also appreciate the glowing eye effect! In Third Place, we have Salem with their design! link <3 This design is really pretty, in it's own way, and it would have won if it were pretty much any other wolf other than King! The pure aesthetic in this wolf design is to die for, and I especially love the way event applicators are utilized to complement the wolf's other markings and draw the eye to different parts of the wolf's design. I could also spend time breaking down the amazing qualities of the other designs here, but this post would get long. Again, thank you to everyone for suffering through freshening my magpie wolf with no sense of style! (Seriously, get a new earring..) |
