Thank you! First of all what’s the Ping system in this game? Is it by username or Id number? Also how do I get another adult wolf? I have a beginner quest that requires one but all of mine are assigned jobs

For chat, click on the three little dots on the right hand side of the chat message and you should get an option box, one of the options is to ping the user that sent the message. For forum threads there is no official ping system, but you can "@" a specific user if you need to address them individually.

To get another adult wolf you will need to befriend one from explore or purchase one from the trading center! There are a good amount of cheap adult wolves in the TC (trading center) if you need one quickly :)

Oh okay cool! Thank you! Also I see wolves die is it just from neglect and old age or can they die in combat? I’m worried about permanently losing wolves unexpectedly. Old age and stuff I’d be prepared for but suddenly in combat worries me

Wolves cannot die from combat, trust me I get my lead down to 0 from battling many times over the day! However, if your hunters are sick or get down to 0 they will be prevented from going out to hunt again. As long as you keep an eye on their health that generally isn't a problem.

Okay and one more thing. What is chasing? And why is it something people mention when trading wolves? Does it add or take away value if they are chased?

Chasing refers to the "chase" function at the bottom of every wolf's page (so long as they're not secured) and how it works is once pressed, the adult (adolescents and puppies will be deleted) wolf will permanently leave your pack and have a chance to reappear in explore to another player as a befriendable wolf. A lot of players breed wolves with valuable genetics (base, eyes, markings, etc.) to chase for other people to find! Chased wolves have no heritage, meaning they are 1st Generation, which is highly valuable to many players as there is no chance of inbreeding.

How much you value a chased wolf is completely up to you, it is more of a preferred play style than hard rule.

Ohhh interesting! Okay thank you! I used to be on wajas (idk if you know that one) but inbreeding was just a number and like morally you didn’t want it to be inbred but is there another reason you don’t want inbreeding in this game besides just a number? Like does it affect your wolf?

Oh I used to play Wajas waaaayyy back in my day! Nah, inbreeding has no affect in this game at all. It's simply a preferred play style!
