I'll try to get this game moving again and keep momentum, but I apologize in advance for any pauses that may happen. Real life stuff gets in the way, y'know? What is art telephone?: Art telephone is a game where you create a chain of artists. The first artist in line creates an original drawing, and the next artist redraws it in their own style, changing whatever they want to - either major or minor - and then passes it along to the next person. In this case, you'll send your piece to me once you've finished your turn, and I'll hand it down. This is both for efficiency and to prevent the game getting stuck due to player blocks or inactivity. To enter: Post in this thread saying you'd like to join the game to be added to the player list; we'll go in order of replies to keep things simple. In games after this first one, I'll be using a random number picker to decide who goes first, but I'll take the initiative this time around so we can have a clear example thread for future games. Rules and details: ~Do not just edit the previous players artwork, your piece must be a redraw. ~Each person has up to 4 days to finish their piece. On day 5 without any updates, I'll dm the player to check in. On day 6 they will be skipped if they're deemed inactive. It sounds harsh, but one break in the chain can ruin the game. ~Do not post your piece anywhere. This includes sharing the piece in the chat box, just in case a player is looking at the chat. ~When you've finished your piece, send it to me via DM. (If you'd like to pass it along yourself to the next person in line, I ask that you still send me a copy in dms and just let me know that you've already passed it down) ~This is not a game about making gorgeous art, I just ask that your piece be at least flat colored (as in, shading isn't mandatory) and cleaned up enough for the next player to tell what's going on in your drawing. Traditional art is allowed, as long as the scan/photo of your piece is clear and visible. ~I'll start the game at a minimum of 6 players, and disallow new players from joining at 12, just to keep the game reasonably short. ~If you would like to opt out of the game before or during your turn, send me a DM letting me know you'd like to be taken off the list. If you haven't been passed a piece yet, you can also ask to be moved to the end of the line. If you've already seen somebody else's piece, you'll have to be removed to not bias the results. ~I will DM all participants once the final results are uploaded, after the last person in line has sent me their piece. ~To be notified in DMs when the next art telephone thread has been made, add "Notify me" to your post reply and I'll put you on the alerts list.
