Getting as much Healing salves as possible

Hello! 

I am quite new and this is my first Lunar Event. All of a sudden, my hoard is stuffed with over 20 medicine at all times! This is awesome, but I suspect it has something to do with the event. Does this have something to do with the event? The news did say the Lunar would heal you more than often... 
So I was wondering if I can still get this much healing salves after the event and how I could get as much medicine as possible and efficient as I can, since this is awesome and I used to be very short on medicine, and I am afraid that after this event ends, I'll run short again!

There are a few encounters found in the event that gives the user healing salves, the most notable being the fox, if you listen to him he gives one salve.

You can still get plenty if salves just by playing, though I'm not sure how often they drop in normal encounters. If you train up your herbalist to 100% proficiency you can even create salves with 3 uses instead of the usual 2 uses! You should still be able to get a good stock in between events from exploration and utilizing your herbalist, unless of course you battle consistently. In able to stock up quite a bit of salves between events, mostly because I don't fight until the events come around.

Yup I listened to the fox and was surprised haha! I also nudge the bee and all. 

So instead of the event giving me a boost, I'm just getting better? 

Oh! I didn't know the herbalist, she's already on the half so I hope she'll reach it soon ^^ 

I do battle a lot, nearly any enemy that I come along as I'm not level 20 yet.

No problem! The herbalist is really nice once you reach 100%, the extra use goes quite a long way so if you're going to battle a ton I'd definitely suggest stocking up on any herbs you need for the healing salve.
