Xander looked up as well, only to look away when a snowflake fell too close to one of his eyes. He grinned, looking back at Clarisse. He watched as the little crystals got stuck in her hair, which stood out more than on his for sure.

The little flakes didn't tamper with the fire on his horns at all. If anything, he increased it ever so slightly to combat the extra chilling bite in the air.

Grinning at Xander, Clarisse's breaths came out in puffs of steam as she wandered through the trees, eyes wide with wonder. "It's beautiful!" She exclaimed, the flurries of snow growing thicker. "But I think we should head inside."

Xander nodded in agreement to both of her statements. "Yeah... we don't want to get lost out here." He chuckled and turned around, holding her hand a bit tighter than before.

He huffed softly and sidled a little closer to Clarisse's side, keeping his eyes out for the cabin.

Shaking the snow off of her shoes, Clarisse stepped into the toasty cabin, sighing with relief as she peeled off her snow-covered jacket. "I'll get the hot chocolate," She said, taking out two packets of powder hot cocoa. Taking the kettle and beginning to boil the water, Clarisse pulled out two mugs and poured the brown powder in.

Xander didn't have much snow on the upper half of his body thanks to his horns. As soon as he stepped inside the flames on them disappeared, almost like they were never there. He closed the door, gazing out as the snowing got a little more aggressive.

He sighed and brushed some snow off of his boots before walking into the kitchen, watching Clarisse pour the powder in. He saw tiny white things inside of it. Raising an eyebrow, he picked one out and showed it to Clarisse.

"What are these?" He asked, tilting his head.

Clarisse picked up the steaming kettle and glanced at Xander. "Marshmallows," She said, taking it from his hand. She dropped it in his mouth. "It's sweet, puffy things. They taste wonderful." Pouring the hot water into the powder, the two mixed and became mugs of steaming hot chocolate.

Taking a spoon, Clarisse stirred the mugs. "Be careful. It's hot."

Xander nibbled on the marshmallow hesitantly at first, but quickly swallowed it and smiled at Clarisse. "Yes, they do taste wonderful!" He agreed, looking down at one of the mugs.

He nodded at her warning and picked his up carefully, looking down at the marshmallows swirling around in the dark deliciousness. He hummed happily, excited for it to cool down.

Taking her mug to the table, Clarisse sat in front of her mug, taking small sips of the chocolatey goodness. "Sit down," She said to Xander, gesturing to the chair next to her. "Make sure you don't spill. It'll burn."

Xander nodded and sat down beside Clarisse, in the seat she had gestured to. He gave her a little smile before turning his dark eyes to the mug, watching the faint steam rise up.

He blew on it softly and took cautious sips, as she did, humming in delight at the taste of the chocolate. It made his smile widen, and he looked over at Clarisse with big, excited eyes. 

"It's delicious!" He whisper-yelled, taking another sip.

Clarisse smiled softly. "You seem to enjoy it," She murmured, taking another sip. "Well, good to hear. You like food a lot I suppose?"
