Name: Xander Annullach

Gender/Pronouns: Male, He/Him

Orientation: Bisexual

Age: 24 (looks around 20ish, though)

Personality: Guarded, Antisocial, Gentle, Aggressive (when frightened), Intelligent, Reliable

Description/Appearance: Xander is fairly tall, around 6'0", give or take, with a somewhat athletic build. He has snowy white hair and deep blue irises with strange, black scleras. His horns are a dark charcoal color. Bluish flames may rise from them when he's angered. His shifted form is large, dire-like in size. His chest glows an icy blue, his eyes a similar color, almost glowing in a sense.

History: (just a lil snippet cuz I'm lazy too xD) Xander was originally just an average demon, and he would quickly admit that coming to the human realm was the worst decision of his life. He'd quickly been found by this administration and taken 'hostage'. At first, he thought it would be fine, but he easily underestimated them. They put seemingly unbreakable objects on him and began testing on him, eventually evolving him into some sort of werewolf hybrid. The only 'freedom' he has now is in the firmly hidden outer area of the facility, a barren place with barriers that reach far into the ground. He is strictly only able to be in his newfound lupine form during these times.

Xander snarled as two men in black uniforms and blacked-out glasses shoved him into a cage, one with many claw marks riddling the bars. He clenched his fists as they unbound his handcuffs through the bars. If they weren't made of some miracle metal, they would have been broken a long time ago, along with their ribs.

Sitting down on the floor, his blue eyes trailed away from the scowling men to the moonlit grass outside. He knew that they would only open the cage once he shifted. While he had no desire to, he genuinely wanted to get out and feel the wind against his... well, fur... as he ran through the large expanse of property that he'd already searched thoroughly countless times before.

He knew that they had cameras everywhere, and he wasn't confident in the fact that he'd found all of the ones outside. There were probably some built into the trees for all he knew.

All he wanted was to be genuinely free again, to see what was on the other side of those barriers, but after a year and a half of being their little test subject, he began to think his outcome was fruitless.

As he became less aggressive and sulkier, he slowly shifted into his unnatural wolf form. Since he wasn't born a werewolf, he didn't have that mental bond he would have with his wolf side. Instead, there was only him in his head, only him in his heart, and only him in his gut.

Xander was lonely, and he felt like he would die that way. Probably by the hands of these disgusting humans when they ran out of use for him.

The side of the cage leading outside slowly rose until it was large enough for him to get out. Ears ticking back, his fur bristled as he sprinted out, knowing they would probably try to shut the gate down on him for fun, as they had a few times before.

He growled lightly as he felt and heard the cage slam shut maybe an inch or two away from his tail. Hearing the men complain a bit then laugh, he continued running, looking up at the twinkling stars overhead every once in a while.

Xander only stopped when he made it to the back walls, tall and intimidating. He sat down, feeling the tracking chip embedded between his shoulder shift as he did so. He winced, hating how it felt, but he had no say in whether it came out or not.

He let out a quiet whine, his vision becoming blurry as he realized just how bland and short his future may be just because his curiosity got the better of him one night.

Stupid. He thought, closing his eyes. He felt a tear trail down his face, but ignored it.

Clarisse stared at the distant shadowed building, wrinkling her nose slightly at the rock-faces guards and barb-wired fences. She felt bad for whoever was inside, and imagined how lonely, how afraid, how...

She stopped herself. Televisions, radios, news- everything had been announcing the "test subject" inside, a step forward to the evolution of humans. Little did they know Miss Clarisse Denumonte, world renowned writer, globetrotter and unofficial spy was a shapeshifter herself.

Approaching the guards, they stared coldly at her until she flashed them her identity card. Grunting their approval they drew back to let her past, stars glittering in the dark night sky.

The inside of the building was gloomy and teeming with guards, all standing straight and eyes blank like toy soldiers. Feeling a little nervous, Clarisse hurriedly followed her guide, a gray uniformed soldier.

He led her to a shadowed cage. Clarisse hesitated, then stepped closer as the door behind her shut and locked with a loud bang. She studied the cage. "...Hello?"

Xander's ears twitched, snapping him out of his own thoughts. He'd heard a voice, different from those of the cold-hearted men. Rather, this one was... softer. More feminine. And not like the voice of one of the three main doctors that visited him frequently.

He stayed still, now-icy eyes fixed on the cage he'd recently been released from. The opening to the cage was open. Was it time for him to go back already?

No... he couldn't have been lost in his own self-pity for that long, could he?

Feeling a light shock go through his body, he flinched. The chip within him was connected to a shocker, one that he didn't want to know the limits of, even though he'd been too close to knowing its full power for comfort.

Well, I usually feel that little reminder when it's time to go in, so I guess I was. He thought, gritting his teeth as he slowly got up and walked over to the large cage.

As he entered it, the bars slowly dropped behind him. His eyes fixed to the lighting, and a light huff escaped him. It was always the same routine.
