Clean Line Canines? (Any Clean Breeders?)

Posted 2020-10-11 21:59:27

I’m hoping to keep clean lines. But we’ll see how far I get with that while trying to preserve the melanistic gene. Interested in a possible clan though!

I’m also a clean breeder in Lioden, but I started playing so recently that I haven’t made much of an impact. XD It’s been a few weeks since I logged into LD too, all my focus has been on Wolvden.

Oh,  you've got a melanistic wolf? Show!

Ha, let the record show the first muties were clean!

I really want the "hard mode" clan, also here on Wolvden. i liked having a pride of chased. The problem i have is that i get too fussy and then it isn't fun anymore.

I wouldn't mind Hard Mode being here! I feel like once we get raffle wolves and events and such, it'll be more viable!

Right now everyone is just obsessed with Merle lmao

Here’s my boi! wolvden.com

He popped up in my tutorial breeding between 2 NBWs. 🖤

What are the hard mode rules Yellowfang?

So NBWs can carry mutation genetics? Hmmm....

@Cerrates is on the game; they made Hard Mode. I'd ask them for a definition if you want one!

This is just pasted directly from the hard mode lioden page:

“All lions in your pride MUST be bred using ONLY the following:

1. Rolled/Heritageless Lions (any studs MUST be heritageless)
2. NCLs
3. Special Lionesses (the weekly raffle lioness)
4. Event Studs”

im thinking maybe we could put an acronym or emoji in our names to identify ourselves, kind of like in the early days on LD when everyone had (CB) in their names

Heya! I was briefly on LD and I believe I was in CLFL. i think. got a terrible memory lol

Im def going to be avoiding inbreeding. And the leaderboard wolves rn lol. I want to keep my original line going as my lead, my stud will be anyone as long as they are not inbred within a certain number of generations. Haven't decided how many yet. Like 10?. I like prettying up NCLs but we shall see. Having other clean breeders can help with studding lol.

I'll probably be using a IB notiation for generations if I ever do it. If I even decide I want lineages to be long lol. So y'all know if my wolves have been inbred at all or not.

I do plan on making a chart that updates 2x a month on base rarity percentages and mutation #. If uni lets me breathe lol. Catch me in chat during my lectures lol

when i was on lioden, i was a part of clfl (the last king i had b4 i left was named buttered popcorn, if i remember that right). the way i personally played it was both no big 4 and no inbreeding, though honestly no inbreeding also covers no big 4 pretty easily. i definitely want to avoid any sort of inbreeding in my pack here, and ive got some plans in place for how to keep the bloodline of my current lead and featured wolf, but it would involve either buying another wolf or relying on a random nbw with each new "generation". still not sure what to do there, but ive got time

my question: with how clean breeding initially meant no stat monsters, how would that apply on wolvden? there arent any stat monsters yet, unless you count the wolves on the leaderboard. im not wanting to start arguments, i just want some clarification on exactly what the goal is here with clean breeding vs no inbreeding
