Clean Line Canines? (Any Clean Breeders?)

Sounds a lot like Hard Mode. Independent breeding, I like it.

My plan is to keep my current bloodlines intact. My lead wolves offspring and offspring of that offspring will be my future leaders.

I wasn't on LD (might make an account there too tho...) but I fully intend to be a clean line breeder here. I don't want any of my pairings to be second cousins or closer. I live near UGA, I know what inbreeding can do to a canine haha!

I’m in CLFL when I play LD. It has honestly been a few months. I intend to stay a clean breeder. I also coincidentally picked up a pup descended from Xaallo, who I intend on breeding an heir from. I want to have a few blood lines going that start from my founding wolves, a mixed line of my first wolf x Xaallo descendant and if I can possibly find a 2nd gen descendant of Xaallo. For now I’ll try to keep my pack small with my arkose and denim projects plus my silver/auburn markings projects.

Here! Im part of CLFL, and yes, I want to stay clean as possible. Sadly, cause all my wolves have the same ancestor in common (Penobscot lol, I have a ton of merles), and my Breeding male will be a G5. But I'll try to do my best!

Also, im trying to read all this thread, maybe I can learn new terminologies from here.

So far I've kept my lines clean. Although I have no idea if any of them have the main four in their linages... I don't think so though, but feel free to correct me!

I’m really trying not to declare some studs a new wolf version of the big four. I really don’t want to blight the game for people who play a different way to me. I keep my eye on particular studs and their stud offspring, but these are my choices and may not be others choices. I’d really really like our game community to not start singling out a ‘big four’, or giving hints that particular lines may be singled out. To my mind,  The game is new and still developing and the economy is fragile enough without burgeoning the game with that. Wondering what others feel? Isn’t clean line breeding about making sure your own wolves don’t Interbreed? Does it have to exclude other lines, just because they’ve had a lot of descendants? Or are you avoiding some in case it will lead to a problem with inbreeding for you later on? I’m trying to breed with NBW, Gen 1 and as far as Gen 3 max, and as few pups as possible for my own personal rules. But that’s because I know I won’t be able to keep up with all the trends that will come- I can’t afford to keep changing a stud just to make a lot of money through bases marks or stats - so I need to find another way to make the game interesting for me.

It makes it easier to keep track of. Like, say, Wolf X is on the leaderboard and is G1 or foundation and 40% of the G2 pups you can buy that match what you’re looking for in a future addition to you breeding stock are children of Wolf X and suddenly one fourth of available studs are children of Wolf X, it will be way too easy to inbreed or line breed on accident. I’d love to have lines of wolves that started from foundation stock and see how high of a generation I could get through breeding to outside studs that aren’t just foundation stock. Once you hit the seventh or eighth generation it gets really hard and I can’t afford to constantly make and NBW a breeding male.

I wasn’t rlly on Lioden but I plan to have clean wolves for fun and lore reasons. Some extra goals I’ve set for myself is to keep my starter leads line going and no crossing studs among my wolves. So if I breed my lead to x and y studs, one of my other girls has to breed to stud z. Keep the lineages from getting all mixed. Haven’t decided if I’ll do this with my own breeding male yet as I have yet to get one.

So apparently there's some strong contenders for Dirty Studs

I've certainly been seeing the name "faelor" around lately!
