@Ice thank you for saying that, I thought I was losing it. The last two events I'd pull like 20LT per bar. This one is 5 for me too.

Im unsure if you guys seen in the 'Minor Additions' they made it easier to find and made it so upto 5LE can be found at once. Super awesome!

I support this! Personally, I was able to grind my little heart out and cap every day, but my friends weren't so lucky. Since you can only collect 100 anyway, I think making it available to find whenever the wolf is awake would be perfectly acceptable!

I was going to oppose this, because it made sense why they did it this way. When the wolves are asleep you're entering the dream scape. and when they are awake you're finding the essence of what was left behind. But after some consideration... I would like to propose an alternative. i think there needs to be an opposite of the dream scape where you can choose to either collect Lunar Essence at day for lunar items, or some kind of alternative item at night to visit a different world in the day. Since the night world is full of all the fantasy stuff, maybe the day world can be more realistic stuff.

In the mean time I've switched my vote to support for consideration of players that don't have as much time as myself. 		Quiet Voices

I've always thought about this every time I go through an event. There are so many problems with the way LE is gathered, it's actually absurd:

  • Summer/Winter cycle, shortened night/day respectively
  • LE can only be found during dawn, day, and dusk.
  • Only 100 LE at once, therefore can't stock up
  • 25 LE at RO, meaning none if already at 100
  • Daily LE cap, you're very short on time
  • Requires energy to come across LE
  • RNG on even finding LE
  • Battles don't give LE
Busy players are very hard-pressed to be at the right place at the right time. Not everyone can have breaks at the correct times at work/school, and not everyone can be sneaking looks at their phone when they should be working. That's an awful habit and the day/night cycle is the perfect way to encourage it.

Like, I have no life and even I can't seem to be on when I have to be. It comes and goes so damn fast, half the time my energy can't even recover by the time the window of opportunity closes. Plus we have the arbitrary 100 LE cap so if we have the wrong amount when we shouldn't, we're SOL.

LE is already RNG in finding it during the day anyway, so even in the windows we do have, we might not get any. With a full energy bar, you can get only 10 at a time. You can have all the time in the world and still not get enough if your luck's just that bad.

Everything about it encourages you to stay on as long as possible, to not miss something when most often you can't even do anything but wait, and I really hate it. Honestly, the fact LE can't be found at night isn't even the worst of the event's issues.

To me, the best things would be:

  • Turn the LE daily cap into a weekly cap (700 instead of 100)
  • Give the free daily LE all at once on day 1 (175 instead of 25)
  • Have battles give 3-5 LE upon winning (NOT replacing other drops)
  • Remove the LE holding cap altogether or increase it to ~1000
And then LE should be found at night too, if everything balances out. (If necessary, the odds of finding LE can be decreased at night.)

Allow players to go through the event at their own pace. It's supposed to be an enjoyable activity, not studying for a finals exam. I get it, WD is meant to be difficult, but this is not a matter of difficulty. This is a matter of actively holding back players without good cause. It's not going to stop players from grinding the event, on the contrary - allowing them to pick their own pace will reduce stress from the time crunch and they'll be more willing to join in on the next one.
