Estrella flicks her tail as she grazes on top of the hill she wondered what her brother was up

Midnight snorted and pawed at the ground, shaking out his dark mane. He didn't like the inclusion of a new stallion - a rival for the position of alpha male. Dust rose up beneath his hooves. But Estrella had accepted the newcomer and Midnight didn't have the right to chase away a stallion that was now a member of the herd. With a frustrated snort he spun around and cantered over to the river. Estrella was bathing, and Midnight admired the sight of the sleek wet mare. She was beautiful.

Spitfire watched the stallion storm off and his ears went back slightly. He returned to his grazing, knowing that it was fair. But he didn't want the position of the alpha male, none of the mares in the herd held any sort of interest for him.

Amari pinned her ears as Midnight came racing up, swishing her tail before walking away. Of course he'd follow Estrella. The appaloosa mare headed back to roll in the grass, keeping distant from the new stallion.

the two foals had split up spirit following estrella and opal following midnight even tho they were both appaloosas they didn't trust the new adult Appaloosa mare or the new stallion they would both have to earn spirit and opals trust. even tho spirit stood almost half as tall as estrella he knew he couldn't walk to fast or she would be unprotected but about an hour later he needed to lay down he was so focused on protecting the lead mare and running from the humans he hadn't realized he had something stuck in his hove "midnight I think I have something in my hove can you plz help me" opal rushed over because she had forgotten to check his hooves for injury.

Estrella grazes lightly ignoring the studs around her and just focusing on protecting the herd and making sure everyone was safe. She didn't really know either of the studs in the herd well and wasn't ready to decide a lead yet. 

Spitfire gave a small buck, just a playful one, before cantering down to the stream. Almost sliding to a stop, he blew hard through his nose, trying to get rid of the mare scent that floated around. Taking a quick drink, he quickly moved away, back to the grass.

Estrella flicks her tail lightly as she stands on the hill. She distances herself from the two colts. She was nervous around them especially since she was in estrus she didn't want to be near any trouble or fights. She also did not want to be covered until she could sort out for sure who was going to be the lead mare. It was breeding season and she knew it was only a matter of time before Amira would come into heat to. 

opal helps spirit walk towards spit fire because midnight was nowhere in sight, by acting like a crutch and holding his hove and walking at the same speed as spirit finally they reached the other stallion *opal* "we need help he has something dug into his hove, also do you know of a mare named Quartz?" spirit had laid back down showing his hove to the stallion.

Spitfire turned to face them, vaguely surprised. "I can't really help with your hoof but yes, I did know a mare by the name of Quartz. Why do you ask?"
