Listen Lioden has Beetles...I suggest the humble crab.

I think it'd be a cool little side faction of the site and they are unique and varied to stand out from Lioden's beetles, but be similar enough

I think crabs would be wonderful!! 

Nice idea but my worry is that we don't have very many species of crab here in the US so options would dry up very quickly (yes, LD does have non-native Beatles but almost all of them are event exclusive or purchased)

It also wouldn't really fit with most/any of the biomes. I just think it would be odd to encounter a crab when exploring in the Desert or really any biome without water.

What about instead of crabs one could do isopods o.o there are various species and many morphs ^^ 

Actually, there are species of crustaceans that live in desert! In Texas, specifically! ;) 

Hound, I ADORE your idea. I'm LOVING it. Much better than just crabs. 

If crabs don't end up being a useable idea, lizards, frogs, or even salamanders could be possible.

Thank you been learning a lot about them plus they are nature's clean up crew who doesn't like an isopod plus think of the potential of a lava morph isopod could be really neat :)

I like pets as an idea. For the wolves, I would rather like small birds as pets. Lizards, frogs, and crabs are wonderful animals, but I don't think they're really fitting with wolves.
