Peakclan's Promise :: A Warrior Cats Roleplay (OPEN!!)

Posted 2021-04-21 08:58:19

Leafstar || OakClan || Leader || Location: Oak-Peak Border || Mentions: Unnamed rogue

The leader watched in silence as the mottled pelt of the tortoiseshell strangers faded away into the undergrowth of the territory unclaimed by any of the clans. He felt a sense of curiosity. He found the she-cat to be pretty- was he partial towards tortoiseshells? When did he ever care for appearances, anyways? Shame she's resorted to the life of a criminal. The placid leader decided with a quiet huff, lingering near the border for whatever reason. Was he hoping she'd come back? No- he was merely ensuring that she'd left for good, and didn't decide to turn back in hopes that he'd left. The bicolor feline stood by the border for a few heartbeats more before he slowly stepped away, at last turning his back on the unclaimed land to focus on other priorities: hunting. The boundary line of their territory was clear as day anyways. There was no pointing in refreshing it when the rogue had clearly disregarded it with the intent of getting away unnoticed.

The cold made the scratch on his cheek and wound on the side of his neck burn. Leafstar plodded along, tasting the air and ridding his mind of the trespasser as he began to focus on the hunt once more. There was the faint scent of some sort of avian, but he assumed that it was nothing more than a small songbird, something that would hardly feed even a tiny kitten. Besides- he preferred their song over their taste.

So he turned his attention to the tops of the trees, where some squirrels made their homes in the heart of giants. He curled his tail in interest at the sound of a hunting challenge. While he didn't enjoy the pressure of leadership, he never backed down from a challenge that suited a warrior. It reminded him of the good old days- when his brother was still alive, and he didn't have the weight of OakClan on his shoulders. It'll all be over soon, the tom reminded himself as he pulled himself up the rough bark, catching the faintest scent of a nesting squirrel. War doesn't last forever.

Ivycry // Location: Oakclan Camp, Oakclan Territory, Lakeclan territory// Mentions: Rainflower

Ivycry didn't hesitate for a moment after Rainflower's suggestion, and briskly walked - not ran, for she didn't want to seem that desperate to wash out her mouth - to the lake. Her mouth felt sticky, and an earthy taste lay heavy on her tongue. It was a horrid sensation and, if it weren't for the meal she had earlier today, she would have happily got rid of it with the sweet blood of a rabbit.

Where was the river? She was surpressing nausea from the disgusting taste in her mouth, and was wandering blindly from memory trying to find the body of water. She heard trickling faintly in the distance and bounded towards it, before thrusting her muzzle into the clean, fresh liquid, and letting it flow into her mouth. At last, the icky taste was disappearing!

Although, something that Ivycry failed to realise was how close she was to the lake, or how she had crossed the borders...

(Reviving the rp)

Sunbeam || Location: Oackclan Territory, Oakclan Hunting Grounds || Mentions: Open!  *

Sunbeam lowered herself to the ground, making her orange tabby fur almost invisible in the undergrowth. A large, plump mouse was munching on a blueberry in front of her. She shuffled her back legs slightly, preparing to pounce. But at that moment another cat leaped onto the mouse, killing it with ease. Sunbeam jumped back, glaring at the newcomer. Although she was small, her strength cleverness made up for it.

She couldn't see the cat well in the shadows of the large Oak trees, but she defiantly knew it was from another clan...

*  Steppingstar || Location: Lakeclan Territory, Lakeclan border || Mentions: Rainflower  *

"Another prey stealer!" Steppingstar hissed, her long tail lashing behind her. It had been the next day after the incident with Boulderpaw. She was still slightly mad at the young apprentice for talking back to her, she was clan leader of Starclans sake!

Her patrol stopped behind her, their eyes narrowed. The large she-cat loomed over the silver-tabby crouched on the rocky shore of the lake. "First Peakclan, now Oakclan!" She snarled, baring her teeth. A black Tom at the back of the patrol let out a low growl. She silenced them with a quick glare. "Why are you stealing my prey!?" Steppingstar asked, turning her gaze back to the she-cat.
