Cedarwood Forest- Wolf Pack RP

"I can stay with the pups, I'd rather keep them close to me. And I doubt that you won't make it back, but of course I will keep the pups safe." Arwain replied. "If I can hear that you are in trouble, then I'll come." 

Toddi bounded up to his mother, batting at her paws before sitting down and watching the adults.

Rue curiously notes the approach of Meghein and Toddi towards her. Bane's explanation makes sense. If they are on their way into a battle of some sort, she supposes someone needs to protect the pups, though she is baffled as to how she has become the default protector for them. It seems Arwain will be staying too at least. She turns to Bane. "If you're just looking for casual company, then it may be best to bow out now... Though there's a chance they might pick you off out there. How good a fighter are you?"

Bane - Male - 3 y/o - Edge of Field

"I've fought a few times," Bane answered. He had grown out of most of his scars, you could barely see them through his coat of fur. "It's always best to avoid them, though." Bane stood next to Akela as they waited for more of the wolves to join them.

"Do you think I ought to find somewhere safe now, or wait until the wolves are closer?" Arwain asked quietly. Toddi looked up with a frown but stayed quiet. He stood up again, not knowing what to do.

Celeste tested the air again. The scent was closer. "They're advancing. You should take the pups and hide now. Stay at least a couple meters away or they'll smell you."

Meghein looked around, confused. Catching the scent of another group of wolves, she soonly got scared and let out a faint whimper as she scrabbled to Arwain, hiding. The scent filled the air her pupils starting to dilate, Meghein felt too scared.

"I would say we're beyond the point of ignoring them," Rue said. She would rather fight up front with Akela, Bane, and Celeste, but the pups are too unprotected, she supposes. "It's alright," she consoles Meghain and Toddi, shifting to block them from the direction of the strange scents. "Stay close."

Celeste nodded to Rue. "But they can't stay too close. As soon as the other group sees we have puppies with us, they'll go after them."

Arwain smiled at Rue then gestured for Toddi and Meghein to follow her. "Rue, if you do want to fight you can. I'll stay with the pups. If those wolves dare come after Toddi and Meghein, thinking me an easy target then they will be severely mistaken." She glanced at her boy, his tail tucked underneath him as he watched them talk. Arwain nuzzled Meghein at her heels, "It'll be alright. You'll be fine." She consoled, keeping the pup as calm as she could.
