ROYAL X ASSASSIN ROMANCE RP

The guard danged on the door again " I said OPEN the door now or everyone will be sent to my Majesty to deal with the consequences" he said. But after no answer he  knocked the door open and looked around " Anyone here?" he asked passing by the place where the two were being held.

She huffed. "Now or never. I'm not having someone wither in here because of me." She looked up. "Hm." 

The door is locked, and this room is under the stone floor, further under a carpet. "Something to throw." Immediately her attention turned to the skeleton. "Well I'm sorry brother but I need this." She picked up the skull. "You may have withered away in here but I'm not."

The royal guard heard the smash against a door and went back " Who is in there?! he yelled " If anyone is in there I will get you out." At that moment he began to bang against the door with his muscular weight, but nothing worked " Is there a way I can take you out?"

SHe leaned against the door his ear waiting to hear a slight voice answer him back " Oh Jorvey.. its you... No you cant open that door.. its locked too good. Bella is here with me... " she then looked at Belldonna to get some help " go on.. you know this place better than I do, Bell"

Jewel stood up and walked to the door putting her hand on it as if sensing for a weakness " Hm..."

She scoured her mind. Of course, they would lock the door they always do. "The lock should be rusty and old, hasn't been replaced in centuries." She thought up more plans for breaking the lock or the door. "That's why there's a ladder, the door's underside is old and rotting, the lock is rotting too, everything in here is old and rotting."

" Ok. Let me think about it. I will get you and princess out of there. I promise" Jorvey said " if either of you are by the door, I suggest you step back" he said looking around for the key that Bella was talking about. he found the key but there was other keys attached " I got the key. Now give me a minute here to figure which one works"

He fiddled around with the key a nd keyhole and after a struggle, he got it to open. He walked in and went straight for Jewel " Oh Princess.  Come .. you too dear. Lets go before who ever got you in here, come back" trust was in his voice

" Come on Bella.. please" Jewel said with a pleading look on her face

"Don't need to ask me twice." Before walking out, she turned to the skeleton, now headless. "I'm sorry brother, you did not deserve this." With that, she shook off the old memories and walked out. So many innocent people suffered in that room. She imagined the scowl her mom would have right now, it sent shivers down her spine.

She couldn't believe that she had been here in the clinic so long that she had basically grown up here. When her mother worked it was busy, it had closed in preparation for their big event. The thing they'd all been waiting for. If they wouldn't have killed her on sight just an hour earlier, they most definitely would have now

Jorvery led the two out of the building at straight for the Palace where Jewels mother was supposed to be alive and working in the study. But no.  She was dead cold on the floor with a broken cup on the floor. 

Jewel walked into the building asking for her mother " Mother.. im back. im sorry I'm...MOTHER!" She yelled as soon as she saw her laying there dead " No..MOTHER!" she ran to her and kneeled down onto her knees  and cried. " whoever did this, will dearly pay for my mothers death!" she said with anger in her voice

She was surprised. It had actually worked but, oh, she will likely be killed about this again. She quietly excused herself, leaving Jewel to do her thing. She quickly found a secluded spot and was overswept with panic, okay she had a threat of dying before, but now she actually feared for her life. She could already feel death's cold hands reaching for her.

If she ran, she would be a wanderer, with nowhere to go. But if she stayed here, it was only a matter of time before the truth came out and she would be sentenced to death. She started to question the entire thing. She would much rather this be a dream, and she was actually still sleeping.

Jewel spent over two hours over her mother dead body before standing up.

Jorvey sighed and reached for her shoulder " Im so sorry, your Highness. I will find out who did this and bring them to you to judge" he then walked off outside and was gone for hours.

Jewel then spotted Bella. " Hey whats the matter?" she asked walking to her and turning her towards her " everything is gonna be alright. We will find out who did this to my mother and  I will  decide what to do. Death of course isnt the only option with me, not that im the Queen.  But I will see , depending on who the murderer is"

"Never get used to dead bodies I guess" She gulped, attempting to calm down. In her nervous and panicked mind, she wondered why Jewel hadn't connected the dots yet. With a deep breath she got up, should she lie then?

She has lied before, but never as big as killing the queen. What would she even do if it got found out? Jewel would be upset if she lied, but if she told the truth she would be killed. What choice was there? She was in between a rock and a hard place. She wanted to live and live a life.

She decided to prolong her eventual death, it would be torture every night, she's not sure she could live with the guilt. But she wanted to live, or at least buy time to get out of here.
